After a drive of approximately 2 hour and 15 minutes (this will vary depending on your hotel location), we'll arrive at Marina Marazul, where you'll enjoy a light breakfast and start boarding for your trip.
We’ll travel to Isla Contoy, a natural national park known to be a paradise and a sanctuary for migratory and native birds. Here, you’ll discover the diverse flora and fauna that calls this place a home, also its dream-like beaches and the turquoise blue of the sea that surrounds it, with spectacular views that you’ll never forget.
Then, if the weather is in our favor, we’ll head just a few kilometers off Isla Contoy, where we’ll do some snorkeling at the tip of the second-largest barrier reef in the world.
Lastly, we’ll head to Isla Mujeres, an amazing island that’s characterized by the charm of its beautiful beaches and its crafts market. After this, we'll head back to our Hotel on a drive of approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes (this will vary depending on your hotel location).

In the boat we were more than 30, not max 20 as written in the description. This is a misleading marketing communication
Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that the group size did not meet your expectations. The tour description refers to the maximum size of the small boats used for certain parts of the experience, which can vary depending on operational logistics on the day of the tour. Transportation to the area may involve larger vessels, which can accommodate more guests. We understand how this may have caused confusion and appreciate you bringing it to our attention. We will review the wording in the listing to ensure it is as clear as possible for future travelers. Thank you again for your feedback.
The tour was run by Coco and Juan. I was also a guide and I found the guys very professional and attentive. The tour includes snorkeling in the open sea and they coordinated everything perfectly despite some sudden currents. The island is extraordinary, I'll leave you a photographic taste. I would say a paradise for the mind as well as lots of heartfelt laughter if you have the right guides. Sandra
Nicest trip of our trip. Dreamlike beaches, unspoilt nature. Speedboat tour was an experience. The most atmosphere was created by the guides, who with their energy and life friends made the tour a unique experience! Many thanks for this to Xenia, Sil and Juani.
The Isla Contoy is extremely worth seeing real Caribbean flair very nice and clean beach. Only 200 people a day are allowed there because it is a nature reserve. Important not to use sunscreen
If you want to go to Isla contoy and Isla Mujeres and snorkel on the coral reef I recommend you to the Enterprise OCEANTOURS RIVERA MAYA composed of Katia , J.P and TLai are the best, guaranteed fun and an unforgettable experience.
Contoy Island is a national park and a paradise. Its beach is small, crystal clear and still waters. The island women is very touristic, many people and trade. On both islands there is no slack, which is appreciated. The tour includes a rich fish-based lunch on Contoy Island. The only thing less interesting about the tour was the snorkeling
The boat ride was fun with free drinks and people from all over the world. Isla Mujeres was charming and had great shopping. Isla Contoy was so beautiful with crystal clear water and wildlife. Lunch on the island was delicious. Thank you to Gerardo Ortiz with Expedia who helped us book this trip though our resort, GR Solaris.
Is ok, good experience… but not what I was thinking, I We go snorkeling and was close to Cancun and don’t see any fish.
is the best of the best, a quiet beach with very fun guides and is a super paradise island!!
Contoy Island is a must-see! It's the typical Caribbean beach you imagine. It’s also very protected, which makes it even more fascinating (you can’t use sunscreen or mosquito repellent and, of course, very forbidden to throw trash). We could see a ray blanket, turtles, barracudas and countless fish and birds. We were fascinated! We went on Caesar's boat and the rest of the snails (as they were called). They made this an IMPRESSIVE day. They are very professional, fun, attentive,... Excellent, we had a fantastic day. Isla Mujeres also has its charm, although very different from Isla Contoy. Isla Mujeres is much more touristic, not so natural. Thank you to Caesar and the rest of our colleagues for giving us such a great day!
