The first purpose built lecture room, and one of the greatest examples of Medieval Architecture in Europe. No wonder it was used in the filming of Harry Potter and other Hollywood films! Explore this famous ceremonial building, with those who have attended the ceremonies! During peak season (June–August), access to the Divinity School is extremely limited due to frequent closures and high demand, and may not be included in the tour. Thorsten showed us around the university precinct and gave us an insight into student life at the colleges.
Got to see some really old colleges and the stories behind them. Fascinating.
Loved it. Very informative. Alex answered all questions we had.
Hannah our tour guide was awesome! She was knowledgeable, approachable, kind, flexible and fun. She shared great facts and added some filming highlights too. She understood the heat was a challenge and made sure to stay in cooler places for our tour group! I would highly recommend her! So thankful she was assigned to our group! Thank you to Hannah for making our first time in Oxford so memorable!
Nice history, but some place’s closed
Our guide, Sam, was not only very knowledgeable about Oxford, he was very entertaining. I learned about the history of Oxford along with some quaint, quirky anecdotes. My family was amused and edified. Thank you for accommodating our rather chaotic entrance to the group.
My daughter and I really enjoyed our 2 hour walking tour of Oxford with Rohit as our guide. He was extremely knowledgeable and friendly - and he spoke very clearly with a nice relaxed style. As well as the historical facts and fun anecdotes it was nice hearing a little about his current experience as a post grad student which really added to the tour. It was also great doing the tour early (9am Saturday) as it was much less busy than later in the day. A really enjoyable morning. Highly recommended.
An excellent and informative tour of the universities and the city. Our tour guide Emily Coles was absolutely fantastic. She was extremely knowledgeable about all things Oxford. She had us all captivated from start to finish.
Despite having visited Oxford many times I learned a fabulous amount about the city, it's history, the university and some of its peculiar traditions. Elana was very knowledgeable and engaged the entire group throughout with suggestions for further exploration.
Trystan did a nice job. The tour was interesting, and we learned a lot. There is so much to see in Oxford!
