Christ Church is one of the most celebrated Colleges at Oxford. Nearly 500 years old it has a seriously impressive collection of buildings along with a strong Harry Potter and Alice's Adventures in Wonderland connection. The guide will provide a comprehensive external overview of the College and its grounds before you enter with a multimedia audio guide, so you can explore the vast grounds at your own pace. We recommend an hour for this - following the completion of this, the experience will have ended.
The first purpose built lecture room, and one of the greatest examples of Medieval Architecture in Europe. No wonder it was used in the filming of Harry Potter and other Hollywood films! Explore this famous ceremonial building, with those who have attended the ceremonies! During peak season (June–August), access to the Divinity School is extremely limited due to frequent closures and high demand, and may not be included in the tour. While some companies may claim otherwise, we prefer to be honest upfront rather than risk disappointment on the day. If this is closed on the day, we will substitute it with entrance to another University College.

This tour was wonderful - our guide Sam was a last minute substitute for the scheduled guide and had already led another tour earlier in the day but he was so cheerful, knowledgeable, and thorough you never would have known that. The headsets were especially helpful to ensure that we could hear everything he was saying even in the wind and among the crowds. We saw so many beautiful sites around the campus and learned a great deal about the different colleges and landmarks during this tour. It was well worth the cost and seeing Christ Church at the end was also so worth the small additional cost. 10/10 recommend.
Our guide Ross for the extended three hour tour was excellent. He was so knowledgeable, and delivered the tour in a relaxed, warm and approachable way. He answered questions readily and really made the tour so interesting. It really was one of the highlights of our trip to Oxford.
Good overview of Oxford. I debated b/w the 1.5 / 2 hour and 3 hour and the 3 hour extended adds the Christ Church which is the last hour and if you go on your own the tickets are around 30 pounds and sometimes difficult to get. Afterwards I think the 3 hour was worth it. It also included a very good audio headset.
We only had about 6 hours in Oxford and knew we couldn’t see all the colleges. This tour was perfect as we were able to see a good bit of the colleges and the tour guide was very knowledgeable. We were happy we didn’t try to visit Oxford on our own as we would have missed so much!
We traveled to Oxford on our own and met our guide (Matt) at the appointed place. He was very knowledgeable, made sure we saw the points of interest and answered everyone's questions. An interesting tour!
