Itinerary
Not quite Flourish and Blotts but as close as a muggle bookshop can be. Blackwells is the dream of every Ravenclaw, holding approximately holding 250,000 volumes, which translates to 3 miles of books! This is even more impressive knowing that their first store measured only 12 feet square, and held just 700 used books. Don't forget to have a look at the roof of the building from a distance. Don't worry the stone figure you'll see on top isn't someone petrified. It is a statue by Antony Gormley; one of a series of sculptures called “Another Time II”.
One of the largest libraries, with multiple buildings spread across Oxford. Home to archaic medieval books on spells and wizards! Viewed from several locations externally - see Divinity for our entrance to Bodleian.
Despite the name, it is one of the oldest Colleges at Oxford, built-in 1379. With its medieval cloisters and beautiful spaces it is easy to see why they decided to film multiple scenes for Harry Potter here!
Paid Entrance To Part of The Bodleian: This most dramatic site is not only one of the oldest parts of the Bodleian Library University, but it was also used in various scenes when filming of Harry Potter was taking place in Oxford. The Bodleian is a complex of different buildings, this is the section we enter. Instantly recognisable as a Harry Potter site, with one of the best examples of medieval architecture in England.

It was a great tour and Adeline was very good and kind. Good Value for money, included the collage entrance. Great amount of time at each place, took about 1 hour 30 minutes. The buildings were so delightful and the Harry Potter filming spots were so cool! We were in a good sized group with 19 people. Best for anyone who loves Harry Potter or wants to explore Oxford.
You can win a price (Harry Potter Merch), as long as there are no small children that you have to respect. You're winning points for your house by answering quiz questions to the film, but it's more like a bit for the fun, because I don't think someone actually counted.
The best guided tour we did so far! Our guide was the amazing Anna (hope I spelled it correctly!) and she was the best! She shared all the historical facts and all the fun facts about not only HP, but also Lewis, Carroll, Tolkien, and much more. Very prepared, very kind. Totally worth it! Bye Anna, until next time! Your “witchy friend” Morgana and her “King Arthur” Luca
Robyn was great. I won the quiz, snuck I. Last with the 150 pointer
We really enjoyed our Harry Potter tour! We love Harry Potter and it was so fun to see the many things that were filmed there. Our guide was a delight! We highly recommend. Thank you!
We had a wonderful experience with our tour guide Robin! He was enthusiastic and full of knowledge of all things Oxford as well as Harry Potter tidbits and filming locations. We learned so much today and were so blown away by the beauty and detail that surrounded us on this tour.
We had a great time. Angus was very clear in his explanations, and an informative, inclusive, kind tour guide.
It was really fun. And our walking guiding Sue gave a really detailed explanation about the history of Oxford and also about the Harry Potter movie related information. Overall it was great. Worth it.
Anna was very knowledgeable and made the tour very interesting.
We had a great tour, and our guide Valentine was fantastic, fun and informative. Our kids enjoyed the experience as well. The length of time worked well and it was a good mix of Harry Potter and Oxford. Learned some cool things! Good value.
