Our first stop is Cambridge, a city renowned for its unique, ornate buildings and culture and a historic city full of character. You'll see the best that Cambridge has to offer on a walking tour of the city with your Expert Guide. Next we travel across to Oxford, the "City of Dreaming Spires", whose hushed courtyards and elegant, dignified timeworn buildings have inspired generations of scholars (including Bill Clinton in the 1970s) and writers, including Lewis Carroll who wrote "Alice in Wonderland" here.

Our first stop is the city of Cambridge, the location of the University of Oxford's ancient and historic rival, the University of Cambridge. Kings college 45 minute Admission included The Bridge of Sighs in Cambridge
Our next stop is Oxford, also known as The City of Dreaming Spires. Find out why as you enjoy a walking tour of the city with your expert tour guide, who will bring the history of this beautiful city to life. Along the way, you will see architecture from every period in English history, from early Saxon right the way through to Gothic Revival. This eclectic mix of buildings is unique to Oxford, as it is the only place in the country where you'll find structures from every period in English history. Oxford is, of course, also home to the University of Oxford, the oldest University in the English-speaking world with origins dating back to the 11th century.
The River Cam (/ˈkæm/) is the main river flowing through Cambridge in eastern England. After leaving Cambridge, it flows north and east into the Great Ouse to the south of Ely at Pope's Corner. The Great Ouse connects the Cam to the North Sea at King's Lynn: The total distance from Cambridge to the sea is about 40 mi (64 km) and is navigable for punts, small boats, and rowing craft.
The Bodleian Library is the main research library of the University of Oxford, and is one of the oldest libraries in Europe. With over 12 million items, it is the second-largest library in Britain after the British Library.
In Christ Church college, you will be visiting one of the University's most prestigious colleges. Founded by Henry VIII in 1532, Christ Church also functions as the UK's smallest cathedral. Its beautiful architecture has seen it featured in movies such as Harry Potter and The Golden Compass, while it has also inspired replicas around the world. The famous dining hall, for example, has been reproduced in Cornell University & the University of Chicago. The dining hall in all Harry Potter movies is modelled on the Christchurch dining hall!
As we leave Oxford we will pass through the Chilterns, an area of outstanding natural beauty. The tour will finish outside London Victoria Train Station, centrally located and easily accessible by national rail and underground, it is serviced by the Victoria, District and Circle Lines and is in Travel Zone 1.

We had a bad day before the day of the tour. Our guide and driver Cameron and Sunil turned it around with a perfect tour yet from London, with our 1-day Cambridge and Oxford tour. Cameron is hilarious yet knowledgeable. He entertained the whole lot 14 of us with jokes and interesting facts along the way, yet with much knowledge within. We really enjoyed his company throughout the day. Sunil, on the other hand, is a careful and composed driver, who made our road trip smooth as silk. While travelling from one location to another which typically took 1-2 hours, we always had good rest and felt fresh before we started our next location. Highly recommend this tour and if you are lucky enough, with duo Cameron (not Diaz unfortunately) and Sunil. Kudos and keep it up!

The tour was very good mainly by the guide Cameron and the driver Sunil. The guide explained the history of the places.

Cameron is amazing! He knows a lot of history and English culture. He even explained topics from other tours we took. Very cheerful and caring about the whole group. Sunil super sharp and nice.

Mariya was a knowledgeable and an excellent guide. Both Oxford and Cambridge are large and very crowded. It would be helpful to have a print map with the meeting place clearly marked as I was almost left on both campuses.

I went on the tour for Cambridge and Oxford with the tour guide Cameron and the driver Abdi. Right from the start I thought the tour was going to be great because of the vibe and personality of the tour guide. Cameron was very acessible and knowledgeable, I loved the facts that he knew, some off the history like the inspiration for Chronicles of Narnia. Also, the personality and the jokes helped to make the day smoother and enjoyable.
