Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi -Amboseli 0730hrs: Pick up from your Nairobi hotel / residence or Nairobi airport. Depart for the Amboseli National Park via the Nairobi – Mombasa road. The morning drive is via typical African savanna country dotted with local homesteads and colorful Masai herdsmen grazing their cattle. Arrive at the Amboseli national park in time for lunch. Take a midday rest and later venture into the park for the scheduled afternoon game viewing drive. We shall be in search of elephant, giraffe, zebra, lion, cheetah, warthog, ostrich and many others. The Mount Kilimanjaro dominates the skyline and surrounding country side. It is the tallest in Africa and highest free standing mountain in the world. Mount Kilimanjaro with its snow – capped peak shall dominate the background while we marvel at the wildlife and scenery. Overnight at AA Amboseli Lodge
Day 2- Amboseli to Nairobi. Morning viewing of Mount Kilimanjaro from the lodge at 6:00 am. Breakfast will follow from 6:30 am to 7:00 am then depart for a half day game drive in the park. Later you will head for lunch at a 5 star lodge OLTUKAI LODGE. After lunch you will start the drive back to Nairobi with a drop off to your hotel or airport.

Absolutely incredible. Amboselli was on my bucket list of places to visit given my love of elephants. And the trip did not dissappoint. Not only did I see plenty of them (herds of up to 30 strong and super tuskers) but also an array of other spectacular wildlife such as lions, hippos and giraffe just to name a few. My guide, Tony, was absolutely fantastic. He was exceptionally friendly and made an extra effort to ensure I was comfortable and that I saw as many things as I could. Knowing my interest in birding, he would even make sure to point out all the unique birds I otherwise would have missed such as spoonbills, ground hornbills and goliath herons. Overall I had an amazing time and Perfect Safaris as a whole were very accommodating - they even organised my trip despite me giving them very short notice. I could not recommend the trip and Perfect Safaris more highly!

We had an excellent experience on this safari. Our guide Tony was great: very knowledgeable and accommodating to our preferences. We highly recommend amboseli for anybody who likes elefants. There is also a vibrant population of bird life including secretary birds and kori bustards which are fascinating to see in real life. On our trip we also saw lions and a very clear view of Mount Kilimanjaro, but I understand that both require some luck. There was an issue with our initial lodge (AA Amboseli) but the operator provided us with good alternatives and we ended up staying at a new lodge called Hunter’s Manor which turned out to be great.

Our guide, Samuel, was really helpful and kind. We got really lucky that Mt Kilimanjaro graced us with its presence during the sunset safari. We also paid to upgrade to Sentrim lodge which was really lovely. I also appreciated the guides flexibility for working with my family and teens. It’s a long drive to Amboseli but the family says it was well worth it!

We choosed this short safari because we were on a business trip in Nairobi and it was an excellent choice! It is very well organized, Edwin is the most kind driver I could imagine! He was always in time, took extra time to make sure we could see more animals (the park is beautiful but not very populated) , stopped under our request to visit a masai village on the way back which was a beautiful experience and last but not least managed to bring us in time at the airport for our flight despite the incredible traffic and long journey! Thank you so much Edwin! We highly reccomend this safari, the lodge is simple but functional and surrounded by green! The lunch at the lodge in the park was fantastic! And the time around looking for animals with the view of the Kilimangiaro is a unique experience!

It was absolutely amazing. Mostly thanks to our guide (Ramma), he knew excatly where to go to put us in the best possible position to watch and take pictures. He was also always on time, never too late. It was very obvious he knows his way around the animals and around the resort. Rama really made this adventure great! We saw all the great animals: hippos, elephants, giraffe, lions, cheetah, …. And so many more. Countless really. Thanks Ramma! We would absolutely recommend the same trip to others. We did the Amboseli safari and it did not disappoint us, we had a guide in SPANISH Bernardo who knew a lot about the fauna and explained to us with very good Spanish, very attentive and willing to please us with what we asked of him, it is a 5 hour drive from Nairobi and A day in botheli might have been better than 2 days there but we chose that tour, lots of elephants, hippos and giraffes, we went in a private 4x4 jeep, very comfortable, you pay a little more but it's worth it, going a lot in a car has If it is uncomfortable apart from the heat and dust, I highly recommend the company Perfect Safaris. I bought this tour directly with them, paying them cash upon arrival and they were very punctual in everything at a cheaper price than with intermediaries. Thanks for everything Perfect safaris

Wonderful 2 day experience in Amboseli Park. Edwin is a fantastic driver and always took me to the best positions to see and photograph all the animals up close: Lions, Elephants, Hippos, Giraffes, Zebras, Hyenas, Buffaloes and many others, as well as a very suggestive panorama.

This safari tour was dope. My guide, Albert, was the best in the biz. Definitely recommend staying over night for the best chance to see Mount Kilimanjaro. If it is not visible the day you arrive, it will likely be early in the morning. You will want to maximize your chances. The food at the lodge was great. Saw elephants, zebras, lions, and giraffes.
