This tour is a relaxing ride through the greener and cultural north side of Osaka city. Expect an authentic slice of city life, pedalling alongside Osakan locals, other travellers and your friendly, knowledgeable, bilingual guide. Tick off the famous sites and discover some lesser known gems as we explain why we love Osaka and answer any questions you may have. Finally, get recommendations for the rest of your stay in town, we all have our favourite spots for coffee/beer/yakitori/sushi/and everything in between! This tour is 90% flat and can be completed by anyone who can ride a bike so join us for a bit of exercise, some fresh air, and to take the weight off your feet!

Itinerary
Cycle through the pleasant landscaped gardens and old European-style buildings of central Osaka's old business district.
Follow the river that cuts through the city, enjoy the peace, serenity and views across a lesser known part of Osaka.
Though we will not have time to actually enter the museum, we will stop in the grounds and learn about the fascinating history of the area and its place within Japan's modernisation.
Ride through the greenery of Osaka Castle park, stop for picture postcard views, a cool drink and a short explanation of the pivotal castle's role in Japan's history and culture.
Visit Osaka's most beautiful city centre park and enjoy the beauty and surprising history of this photogenic and relaxing green space.

My Daughter and I had booked this tour and we actually ended up having a tour with just us and the tour guide. Im not sure what her name was but the email female name states Yuki? She was very nice and knowledgeable. She even had historic photos of the places we visited from the past. I loved being on the bike and riding around the city. The rose gardens were beautiful and the castle was breathtaking. The time went by so quickly. She also told us they do bike tours in Kyoto too. We just didn't have enough time. The bikes worked great, they gave us water and sunscreen. Loved this activity. Very very fun. Highly recommend Cycle Osaka!
Great fun and our guide had a lot of local knowledge and recommendations for food and other sightseeing . Also a simple yet comprehensive chat about the history of the places we visited.
A fun easy ride packed with facts, history, and humor. Matt was a great guide and I learned interesting info about Osaka and Japan.
Such a fun half day exploring the city with a local guide!! We loved Mayco and could’ve spent the whole day with her! It was the best way to see some of the highlights of Osaka. I’d love to do the full day if I’m back!
Great way to orientate yourself with the city. Bikes are super easy to use so you don’t have to be a biking pro and plenty of mini stops to take in the sites. Lee was a super knowledgeable host. Highly recommend

Good tour with Matt. He was an excellent guide and very friendly. The only thing I wished we could’ve done was ride the bike a bit more and stopped at the locations a little quicker!
