Amazing tour of the highlights of central Osaka. Always felt safe, even when transiting along some of the main roads. The 5-6 hours was well worth it, but didn’t even feel that long. Fairly flat ride in general so with a general level of fitness and cycling ability you’re sure to have a great time. Lunch at a local kitchen/restaurant was amazing and perfectly complimented the tour.
We had a lot of fun riding all over Osaka and learned some history along the way. Osaka is beautiful. Our guide was very patient with our speed. Make sure you are fit or you will be sore after the trip.
What a wonderful day! Mayco was a great guide. She kept us moving without rushing and had a really good knowledge of Osaka and its history. The bike riding was fun and easy as mostly flat and a good pace all day. Highly recommend!
Matt was an awesome guide- super knowledgeable and friendly with a touch of greatly appreciated snark ;) The bikes were in great shape - I opted to upgrade to the ebike. Osaka is mostly flat and easily bike-able but I found the ebike super helpful with my janky knee. I highly recommend this tour on your first day in Osaka - you will see so much more of the city including off the beaten path spots than you would on a walking tour. It was a really nice place with plenty of stops to take a break and take some photos. The lunch towards the end was delicious - it was a local spot away from all of the tourists. This tour was one of the highlights of our 2 week visit to Japan.
This tour gave us a very interesting bike ride through Osaka. We saw many things including Osaka Castle grounds, shrines and rose garden. Our group decided on soba for lunch and our guide took us to a local restaurant that we would never have found on our own. They made their own noodles on site and they were delicious. The biking through the city was intimidating at first, but the people and bikers coexist so well here, we were able to navigate it without too much difficulty. I would recommend this tour. Easier than walking, you see a lot with a lot of information from the guide. For older folks, the difficulty is mild to moderate.
This excursion on a bicycle was the highlight of my time in Osaka, I got to discover back alleys, serene environments (I did not expect that from a big city), historical places and modern ones. The pace is great.
It was a wonderful experience with Akira! He definitely made it fun and enjoyable while making sure we are comfortable. He made sure we are hydrated on a hot summer day and gave us tips on how to combat the heat. We recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see Osaka in a nutshell while having fun going around in a bike.
Akira was wonderful and made this experience easy and fun. It was a great way to get a sense for the city at the start of my trip.
Great day and Matt was a wonderful and knowledgeable guide. Highly recommend a day tour with Cycle Osaka.
We had a fantastic day with Lee who was our tour guide, we saw lots of the city we would not have seen and learnt lots of interesting facts! It was a really relaxing way to see the city as we avoided lots of crowded areas- would thoroughly recommend !
