Description
This experience aims to combine the discovery of a less-known town on the Amalfi Coast and to arrive at this place with an exceptional vehicle: aboard the Ape Car, the undisputed Italian icon. We will start from Ravello and cross a mountainous path until we reach Tramonti, the green lung of the Amalfi Coast. We will visit one of the oldest vineyards (300 - 500 years old) where there is one of the native vines: the Tintore. Once arrived at the winery, after the tour it will be possible to taste three DOC wines of the Amalfi Coast

Amazing day with our driver and tour guide Salvatore. He is a wonderful driver and made us feel safe immediately. The day was fabulous / he had us try various local specialties and ensured we got great photos. He was so kind and even played his accordion for us / Bravo Salvatore

Great fun to travel to the vineyard by tuk tuk, which had snacks and drinks onboard too. It was nice to see the old vines and try the different wines. Definitely recommend!

This tour consisted of two parts— an Ape ride planned by Chic and Fabulous, a Ravello travel agency, and a wine tour/tasting by Tenuta San Francesco. The Ape ride planning was seamless and C&F was very easy to contact over WhatsApp. Our driver, Marco, was ready with snacks, a selfie stick, Italian music, and drinks for our ride to the vineyard. Because you’re in an open-air vehicle it’s a little bit noisy, but that is to be expected. The tour at Tenuta San Francesco was brief, clear, and interesting! We loved seeing the ancient vines and meeting the owners and their family. The lunch was delicious and the wines were lovely. We were seated with other tourists but the conversation was fun and friendly! The only reason I removed one star was there was a bit of a disconnect between the two parts of the experience— we arrived a little late to the vineyard so we missed part of the tour (they showed it to us later) and had to leave a little early because our driver had arrived. Definitely did not take away from the experience, but something I think could be improved on for future tours. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a fun and unique afternoon!
We had a lovely day with Christian on our own Tuk Tuk! Christian was the perfect host! He waited for us at Tenuta San Francesco where we were able to get out and see some of the worlds oldest grape vines a d have a lovely lunch with the owner and his family! We ended the day with Christian touring us along the coast line and returning us to our Villa in Positano! What a lovely day and beautiful experience!!!
