We booked this trip because we are getting into birding and wanted to see what the brackish waters of the Mississippi Delta might have in store. Captain Emmett was very knowledgeable about Bayou wildlife. We felt safe and comfortable on the boat whole time. We saw an alligator, herons, egrets, ibis, terns, anhinga, gulls, vultures, and an osprey. It was a success and a great way to check out the Bywater neighborhood.
Thanks so much for the fantastic review! We're thrilled your birding adventure was a success. The Mississippi Delta's brackish marshes are home to an incredible variety of wildlife, and it sounds like you checked off an impressive list— One of our favorite parts of these tours is sharing the unique ecosystem and history of the bayous while giving guests a safe, comfortable, and up-close experience with nature. We truly appreciate you choosing Beyond The French Quarter and hope you'll join us again soon— The Spring and Fall migrations are amazing an times of the year as well . Captain Pip
