Food is mediocre, service is slow takes forever to get refills, the ride was awesome and the guide was informative, crew was mostly dismissive or ignored you.
Nice information from the captain. Plenty of space. Fried chicken and bread pudding g were delicious! Everything else was okay. Band was great! We missed the sunset view bc we were eating though. Pick the first seating if possible otherwise skip the meal.
My husband loved this experience, but I was extremely seasick and couldn’t enjoy it as much as he did. I knew this was a possibility when we booked the cruise, and it was not an issue caused by the ship. The drinks were great, my only complaint is that the dinner would have been more fun had the boat been moving (although this was likely my fault for booking the earlier slot). Overall a great experience!
I'll start off with we had a wheelchair which I was dreading taking aboard. They were more than helpful. It was a bit of a nightmare moving up and down decks but that was nothing to do with them. The atmosphere was fantastic. The band were great! The guide had good information. In the dining hall the qué was fast moving. The food choices were good. The staff were tentive and kind. The bar staff were quick and friendly. I would 100% recommend this tour. We had dinner booked for 7.45, which was while we were cruising so if anything I'd say go for the earlier dining before setting sail so you don't miss anything.
Always different seeing the city from the river. The meal was quite good, buffet style. Well stocked bar available. And then the sites into sunset with the music playing, really was a good night.
The boat was amazing BUT the buffet style food was awful . We enjoyed the captains narration and the boat itself . The crowd was everyone from young to old . We enjoyed the sunset too :) and the music was amazing
This is a really fun night! We did the sunset jazz cruise without dinner. It was really interesting to watch the paddle change spend and go in reverse. You can even go into the engine room. Definitely recommend the Steamboat Natchez!
The cruise is delightful , however depending on the time of the year, make sure you bring something to be cool in the hot and warm in the cold. The only disappointment was that the food was cold. The only hot thing we got was the chicken gumbo and the bread was so hard and stale you can use this as a hockey puck. . For the cost of the cruise the meal was not the best however, the evening cruise was delightful and the lights in New Orleans was sweet.
The food was amazing, the drinks were fire. I have no complaints. Everyone should experience this steamboat. I forgot the band was amazing
The food is as decent and the servicer Manny was excellent. He provided useful information about what to expect which resulted in a great evening with the family. The live music set a relaxed and vibrant mood. The scenery was beautiful.
