This was a lot of fun to see the garden district. Fun to learn more on the history of NOLA and get us outside the touristy spots. Michelle was great and personable. Easy walk and good food. Highly recommend upon arrival!
Thank you! I can't recommend enough to people that booking early in their trip is a good move, so thank you for reiterating that! I'm so happy you enjoyed your time with me & the history and food!
Michelle was full of information about the settling of NO from the French to the Spanish. Eggplant Napoleon was the best food on the tour.
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed the food & the history!
Michelle was an amazing tour guide! She was knowledgeable and entertaining. We enjoyed our time with her.
So happy to show you the neighborhood & share it with you! See you next time!
Michelle leads a fantastic tour- starting with history that sets the stage for the tour - architectural highlights, delicious food and history- she is knowledgeable and fun!!!
Thanks! I'm glad it's well-rounded and gives you a full experience of New Orleans. And feeds you!
The Garden District food tour was the perfect mix of food, history and architecture. Michelle was an amazing tourguide and extremely knowledgeable. I look forward to taking her other tours.
Thank you! See you next time you're in NOLA!
We wish we had taken this tour on our very first day. We learned so much great information about the city that would have saved us time and money.
Good tip! Thanks for taking the tour & glad I may have given you a reason to come back to town :)
Our family was in New Orleans for 12 days and took many tours. By far the best were guided by Michelle Mashon. She is a native of the city and knows all the best history and places to visit away from the normal tourist spots. I would give her 6 stars if that was possible.
Aw, thanks! Being a small business, it's so important to me that I give a one-of-a-kind experience that also leaves a great impression of what makes New Orleans special- I appreciate it!
Yes, the French Quarter has great dining experiences. But there are so many great food options in every category and dining experience level all over the city. This tour takes you away from bustle and shove of the Quarter to the leisurely pace of the Garden District. Michelle takes time to build a history of the food of New Orleans through the history of its inhabitants. Then you eat (you will be full at the end) at 3 of her fav local spots. The locals know her - think "Norm!" from Cheers - b/c you are in HER neighborhood! You'll feel welcome and want to come back again and again.
Thank you for the glowing review- it communicates the vibe I am for with my tours & how great they are for folks looking to see the city beyond the French Quarter! Appreciate it!
This experience was awesome! I would give it 10 stars if I could. Michelle is a wonderful guide. She taught us so much about local history and customs, shared excellent food with us, and gave everyone in our group great tips about places to shop and eat while we’re in town. She went above and beyond and made this tour so much fun!
Awww, thank you so much! Glad I could make your trip special!
