This 2-hour tour highlights the working women including well-known figures of Storyville. This experience provides bar stops where you may purchase a classic New Orleans cocktail (or your favorite beverage) in a to go cup. This tour starts near the river and concludes in the back of town.

The tour meets near world famous Cafe Du Monde. The first stop is a scenic view of the Mississippi River and Jackson Square. It's here, in the heart of the Vieux Carre, that you will discuss the sex trade as part of the founding of the city
Then, wind downriver stopping off for a drink at Tujague's on your way to the French Market to share tales of colorful port life. The Civil War and the public women's plight during this turbulent time is exposed.
Lovely Royal Street in the evening is part of the landscape of the tour.
Quickly cross bustling Bourbon Street and head towards the back of town
The second bar stop varies. One possibility is May Bailey's, a well known location for lewd and abandoned women. The tour concludes in front of a well known brothel in the shadows of Storyville.

Dannall led a great tour! The content was interested and the pacing was just right. I’d been looking for something a little bit different as I’ve been to NO several times and done a handful of tours before. I learned a lot of new and interesting things.
This was our second tour that we booked with this company. Our first tour was excellent and this tour did not disappoint. This was an evening tour with Dannal who is so knowledgeable and engaging. She answered every question and demonstrated a deep understanding of the subject matter.
