Itinerary
When your cruise ship docks at Naples, meet your driver at the port and hop into your air-conditioned minivan with the rest of your small group. Then, travel south to Sorrento, the cliff-top resort that’s a gateway to the UNESCO-listed Amalfi Coast, a 40-mile (64-km) stretch shore typified by steep cliffs and confetti-colored villages. On arrival, enjoy an hour of free time to explore picturesque Sorrento as you wish. Perhaps stroll the tangled lanes, enjoy the bars and shops in the central square, Piazza Tasso, or admire the 15th-century cathedral — it’s wholly up to you.
Rejoin your minibus and have your camera ready as you drive along the Amalfi Coast, following the cliff roads between lemon groves and the shimmering Mediterranean below. Arrive in the gorgeous cliffside town of Positano, whose houses cascade down cliffs to a pebbly beach, and enjoy an hour of free time to shop at the chic stores, unwind over coffee or perhaps visit the Church of St Maria Assunta, famous for its tiled dome.
Continue to the town of Amalfi and enjoy an hour to explore its sights at leisure. Perhaps peep inside its marble, 9th-century cathedral, browse the many shops hidden in the lanes or enjoy lunch (own expense) at one of the tempting restaurants.
Your last stop is Ravello, higher up the cliffs. With an hour of free time here, maybe look around the impressive cathedral or visit the 13th-century Villa Rufolo (own expense), whose cliff-hugging gardens serve up jaw-dropping coastal views. Afterward, drive back to Naples where your shore excursion ends back at the cruise port.

Its long but satisfying and bring photo and video equipment , you'll need it . Ricardo was informative and ready for the assignment .
We had to book this tour last minute.Due to the captain changing our port at the very last minute. Thank goodness they had an opening, and we chose this tour. It was a fantastic day. And our driver was not just a driver. He was a really fun. Nice kind and helpful guy with lots of knowledge. We had the best day traveling the coast of sorrento, pasatano and the amalfi coast!
The driver guide was very acomadading the tour was a great experience the views were breathtaking we had plenty of time to see the sights in each town
The driver was waiting for other passenger that was not on the cruise ship. It took them 23 minutes pass the ti He’s not communicating with the 5 cruise ship passengers that were on time and on his cell phone all the time . The driver was erratic as he left the parking lot ., stopped a block later and said get down and go to the other bust . We thought we booked a tour . There was no communication on where we’re going , passing by or the plan for the day. We’ll stop and say you have this much time is the only communication we’ll get . I have not had bad experience like this from Viator 😞
Our driver, Rosario, was great. It was a busy day with 4 stops and an early time to get back to our ship. We never felt rushed, each stop provided time to get our and explore. The van was conformable and Rosario is an expert driver for the narrow, winding roads.
This is not a guided tour, it is a driver that does not speak English and told us not one detail of any place we visited. Very disappointed for the price we paid!
Yes Madame you are right, it was not a guided tour because on this tour we just provide a driver who is not a guide. He has just to fix times and meeting point anyway thanks for your feedback.
The Amalfi Coast tour is one to do when in Naples. It will make you want to come back again and again
This was a good excursion, but we felt fairly rushed. It would have been better to visit two or three towns. Four was too many to cover in a day, epecially with the amount of tourists there.. This is not a reflection of the guide, just input for the tour coordinator. It was nice that there were only 16 people on the tour. Any more would’ve been too many.
We had a fantastic time at this trip. The driver speaks good English, explained a lot . He even makes a few stops at the coast for us to take some pictures. He picked and dropped us promptly at the cruise port. Will definitely recommend this tour for anyone for only have one short day at Naples.
Our guide did not soeak English Took maybe an hour before we left Naples after picking up everyone Stopped shortly after for testroom not sure why He picked where we ate late lunch early dinner
