Embark on a half-day safari to Nairobi National Park, the only national park in the world located within a capital city. Begin with an early morning pickup and drive to the park, where you’ll register and pay entrance fees. Set off on a scenic game drive across open savannahs and bushland, with Nairobi’s skyline in the distance. Spot diverse wildlife, including lions, rhinos, buffaloes, giraffes, and more. Spend around two hours immersed in the wild, with stops to admire the park’s flora and fauna. After the game drive, head to the nearby Elephant Orphanage and witness the care and rehabilitation of orphaned baby elephants. Learn about conservation efforts to protect Kenya’s endangered species and enjoy close encounters with the elephants during their feeding and playtime. Booked the trip the day before in the evening, the company was very reactive, pick up at my hotel. Very nice staff, overall a good choice for a quick visit of the park. My only complaint is the rush on the roads of the park, spoiling some photo opportunities (but best to be the first one on a spot before a horde of 4x4 clutters the road), it would be perfect to take more time at watching the animals, but I understand the schedule is tight for the drivers. Keep in mind that on top of your payment, you still have to pay the Park's entry fees (USD 43). Download and register through the Kenyan government's app to save time. The driver proposed the group to visit the Elephant Orphanage, but even if the price is a whopping 3600 KSH, it's totally worth it. Don't miss the opportunity, it's really the highlight of the day. We have then stopped in a small road restaurant to feed ourselves, the prices were low and the food quality good, and I was then driven back to my hotel. Overall a great day, I recommend the company warmly.
