City tours give you an insight into the capital and you gain so much knowledge that without a tour you would never know. Jacque advised right from the start what we would be seeing and areas we would be walking around. Nairobi is a big place and we did initially get stopped a few times by people who where on the streets but Jacque ensured they moved on quickly. We wish Jacque and the company lots of success. I would recommend this tour wholeheartedly and the cost is very reasonable.
Really enjoyed my tour throughout. My guide Jackie was very informative and Friendly. I learned a lot of history to the modern times of Nairobi. It Was amazing walking through Nairobi city centre and seeing how People Commute to different parts of city. Also very interesting to see the local transport Matatu,s very colourful and Blaring music played while you travel to your destination. I had great time
I really enjoyed this tour! I didn't know much about Nairobi before arriving and was so grateful that the guide, Jacquie, was so knowledgeable about the history. I did the tour on a Sunday morning. A lot of places were closed, so if you want a full marketplace and bustling people, don't go on a Sunday. It was perfect for me though, as the streets were quiet, we could walk in ease and ask plenty of questions and learn heaps. Jacquie was so friendly and helpful, I would highly recommend this tour with her.
Booked this as a first day experience in Nairobi and I am so happy we did. Experience was as described in the booking. Simon, our guide picked us up on time, and did an amazing job of explaining all the sites and giving pointers on how to respectfully experience the culture. He took pictures of us and overall is a great steward of Kenyan culture. Part of the tour took us to the market where Mary had THE BEST MANGOS ever. Simon was kind enough to go back and get us some additional mangos. This was worth the price. 10/10.
We missed this excursion due to our lateness. I give this excursion a 5 star review because the provider reached out and offered us the walking tour later that day. That was exceptional for them to go out of their way to make sure we received what we paid for. I told them, "no worries, we will see you next time." Great company!
Very reasonably priced walking tour, and the guide Jacque is very nice and kind. Good design of the walking route as well. Jacque also took me to a very local place for lunch after completing the tour, a perfect and authentic addition. I will go with them for other tours when I come back
fantastic walking tour around Nairobi city center! Jackie was super knowledgeable and kind; it was great to see the vibrancy of the city and take in some wonderful architecture and views
Leah was an incredible tour guide. She showed us around the historic sites in a way that was accommodating to our needs, answered all of our questions, and made the tour both enjoyable and super informative!
Leah was a fantastic tour guide and took us around Nairobi to hit up some monumental and historic sites while pausing every now and then to engage with locals and we even got a delicious fruit salad!
Thank you so much to Happy Tribe travellers for an amazing day. Big thank you to Denis who managed to include us on the tour even though we had made an error with our booking. Most of all a big big thank you to the best tour guide ever Jackie, she gave us an amazing tour
