MUSA Cancun is a very successful conservation project, one of the first of its class. In order to maintain the natural reefs, the local and federal authorities and dive shops in the area made an effort and sunk over 400 statues to make an artificial reef, After MUSA was sunk, Manchones Reef recovered over 40% of its natural beauty. We combine two of the best things to do in Cancun: dive and visit the world-famous Underwater Museum (MUSA). It doesn’t matter if you are not a PADI-certified diver; you can take the class and join us on this incredible adventure. Discover Scuba Diving is PADI`s first step to becoming a diver. Everything was sooooooo amazing! The check in was smooth. The required information session was nice small and intimate so you get to know your team and support each other on the dives. Marin was EPIC showing all the shark, lobster, sea turtle, whale and lion fish spots. I would note there are a few extra fees not outlined on the site, like for the wet suit, extra environmental fees. It’s recommended to bring extra cash.

Just to clarify on the fees: we don't charge any environmental or conservation fees at check-in — those are always included in the tour price, with no surprises on arrival. You are totally right about the wetsuit; we add this to the tour description to make it clear for everyone, how ever is not mandatory. Louis was an excellent guide for my family which were all first time divers. He was an excellent instructor and made sure we stayed safe and explored as much as possible. Highly recommend him and his crew for this tour.
The scuba experience was definitely the highest point of our experience in Cancun. Javier was a great scuba instructor, and we felt safe throughout the entire process. I recommend Solo Buceo and Javier to everyone.
The instructors were top notch; very clear instructions and they stay by your side the entire time! 100/10 experience and would do again!
Our guide Havier was the best! He made the whole experience so fun and easy. He explained everything so good and always made us laugh. The museum was gorgeous, mostly bc of the wide variety of sea life.
We had the best experience ever. This was truly one of the best things we could’ve ever done in Cancun. I would like to think our amazing guide. Xavier was so amazing he made us feel so comfortable and gave great instructions. I do not recommend anywhere else and if you were lucky enough to get him, please do so we are visiting from the United States and often come to Cancun.
