I would gladly skip Cancun and take this trip instead

This was a wonderful tour, a memorable experience my family will remember as one of our best vacations. We had a private van with driver and guide for 3 days, and this made for a relaxing time even in the sub-topical heat. Each day in the morning, we would visit a Mayan site , and the afternoons were for cooling off by the water (we visited 2 cenotes). My favorite experiences were the bike ride on the ancient Mayan road in Coba and the boat ride in the mangroves of Celestun. The city of Merida is so charming with many Yucatán restaurants and free musical performances at various parks in walking distance of our hotel. Our hotel in Merida had the biggest selection of breakfast food I have ever seen, too bad I was stuffed from dinner the nights before. Our guide Emilio, give that guy a PhD in Mayan history and hospitality. I have never booked a private tour before and this was my first time using Viator. I am so pleasantly satisfied. Also thank you to the iguanas, turkeys, flamingos and crocodiles .
