Tour guide was knowledgeable and very pleasant.
Tour guide was great, informative with a touch of sense of humor 👏, but allowed to be inside of the theater due to a play rehearsal going on, only view it through a transparent plastic viewing window from above.
While the tour of the Duomo was cancelled we were able to enjoy La Scala. With the changing of the tour my app, email & text gave us the wrong time. So when we arrived at our scheduled time the host seemed upset. La Scala is beautiful and there was a lot of interesting information about the history. We were able to see the interior, a model of the theater and many interesting artifacts. We did feel our tour guide was quite abrupt in that we passed a hall of posters of the original operas and were told if we want pictures to come back after the tour. He was rude to a group of gentlemen who were quietly talking next to him as he was explaining the model to us. He said they were interrupting his tour (even though they were seated before we got there) and he asked them to be quiet. Honestly, our family never heard the other people. He could have easily walked to the other side of the table away from the men, but instead made them uncomfortable and they left. The tour felt a little rushed as he was told us several times that he wanted to stay ahead of all the other tours. I would recommend this tour, but not with the guide we had.
Samantha is an excellent and knowledgeable guide and made the visit so much more enjoyable. The Duomo is a masterpiece of gothic architecture and having the specific details pointed out to us made the difference.
Samantha was an amazing tour guide! She was so knowledgeable about both the theatre and the Duomo. She was so personable and friendly. The only challenge we had was finding the meeting place for the tour because it was not clearly indicated where in the plaza we were to meet.
Great tour, perfect for what your looking for. A must do! Had a great time. Amazing day seeing soo much, don't miss this tour
We booked way in advance for this tour, only to find out the morning we were heading out to the meeting point.. and that was only because we called to clarify the meeting point, which was very confusing. They informed us that it was cancelled and that they tried to call us when we were on a 14+ flight.. We were offered an alternate tour that we had previously done. We were too late to find another tour unless we wanted to pay a lot more. They offered to refund.. we have yet to see the refund to our credit card
Dear Christine, Thank you for sharing your opinion. I would like to point out that we sent you an email on October 16, two weeks before the tour date, informing you that the tour would not be operating and offering you another tour on the same day. This email probably ended up in your spam folder because you never replied to us. By the way, you booked a tour that included a visit to the Duomo and the La Scala Museum, and we offered you an alternative tour that included the same visit to the Duomo and the climb to the terraces, so we don't understand why you wrote that you refused because you had already done the same tour when it was partly the same as the one you had booked. Thank you for allowing us to demonstrate the legitimacy of our work. Sincerely, Davide
We had a very informative tour of La Scala before joining the tour of the Duomo. Simone was excellent both informative and enthusiastic
Great tour, our guide, Nina was very knowledgeable and gave alot of history. Really enjoyed the tour.
We had a tour of the La Scala, Opera House and Museum with Gina as our guide who was fabulous. We were scheduled for a second tour of the Duomo, but Gina was not aware of that second tour. However, she did guide us over to the Duomo where we met up with our tour guide for the Duomo. In the future, I would recommend that there be more clear instructions about where to meet for the second tour, and who will be guiding the second tour. For a moment, we were afraid that we were not signed up for a second tour. The tour guide for the Duomo was also excellent, and both experiences are highly recommended.
