Entertaining, knowledgeable and engrossing; our guide Chiara was fantastic!

Our tour guide Chiara knew her stuff, was funny, engaging, entertaining and full of energy. The tour was one of the best we’ve been on (and we’ve been on quite a few)! Highly recommended.

The perfect guide

I don’t usually do tours but since this was short I decided to give it a shot. If it wasn’t for our guide I would have left the tour due to the heat. Ciara I think was the name of our guide. She was so funny and entertaining I could not leave and miss out on listening to her and that is the only reason I stayed.

Fantastico! Kiara was...

Fantastico! Kiara was brilliant - not just her knowledge and passion for the Duomo, but her humour, expressionism and engagement with all the tour group was exceptional. The Italian sass she demonstrated to keep us, the hundreds of other tourists who crossed into our path and even the security in line was hilarious. Kiara you're the best 😍

A lot of chaos at the beginning

We were in Milan on 08/01 and had booked the (English!!) tour at 10:00 AM. According to the announcement, we were on-site at 9:45 AM. It quickly turned out that a mistake had been made, because the tour was supposed to be in Spanish. Besides us, there were 15 Americans, 4 Britons, and 4 Czechs in the group, none of whom spoke Spanish. It took 45 minutes until it was clarified that the lady could also conduct the tour in English. Then the technology didn't work, so we only received information during the ascent when the opportunity arose. Only when we were back down were there new devices, which in turn took 15 minutes. The lady was very eager overall. Furthermore, a note about the dress code would have been good; then we could have saved the money for scarves/ponchos. Tank tops are not allowed. (Which is entirely understandable.)

Operator response
