Duomo - Milan Italy

Our Duomo experience and guide were exceptional. We actually visited the Duomo on our own a few years back but our guide was filled with information we would not have received otherwise

Disappointed

Despite the officially booked time, the tour operator changed the departure time. They said they had sent an email. I could not find it. With a changed time a reminder on the day before would have been appreciated.

Operator response

Dear Susan Pihillips, Thank you for your feedback. We would like to clarify the timeline of events regarding your booking to ensure the facts are correct. Our records show that we did notify you of the schedule adjustment well in advance. In fact, on June 4, 2026, at 8:20 PM (3 weeks before the tour), you replied to our notification by email with the exact words: "I confirm the time change to my booking". Because you explicitly confirmed the new starting time, we expected you to arrive at the updated hour. Unfortunately, you still arrived at the original, incorrect time. Despite the fact that missing the confirmed departure slot completely voids the booking guidelines, our team still went above and beyond to assist you by providing you with your entrance tickets so you would not miss the attraction. We always strive to accommodate our guests, even when mistakes happen on their end, and we hope you still appreciated being able to enter the site. Best regards Davide

Going the morning.

Amazing view. Loved the tour guide. He was funny, informative and honest about the climb and heat. There is an elevator for part of it. But don’t do the afternoon if the temps are high. We went in the morning and the temps were barely tolerable. Other than the heat we enjoyed the tour.

Duomo and rooftop tour.

The best part was skip the line. Thought it was longer and wish the guide had accompanied us all along the rooftop. Wondered if we got the audio your we would face learned just as much.

Operator response

Dear Susan, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are glad you appreciated the skip-the-line access, which is indeed one of the main benefits of this experience. Regarding the duration, we would like to clarify that the tour lasted exactly 2 hours, which is precisely what is stated in our product description. You mentioned the alternative of an audio tour, but we would like to highlight the significant differences. If you had chosen an audio guide, you would have first needed to wait in the regular queue at the ticket office to buy the tickets, followed by the individual entrance line for both the Cathedral and the Terraces—which is considerably longer than the dedicated group access you experienced. Furthermore, an audio tour cannot replace the interactive element of having a dedicated, live guide at your disposal to answer questions. We appreciate your comments and hope you still had an enjoyable visit to the Duomo. Best regards, Davide

A Brilliant Way to tour the Duomo and see the centre of Milan from height

We were a fairly large group of 25 operating during a peak visiting period- Samantha our guide kept everyone together and engaged with interesting commentary and observations. She equally efficiently managed other less organised visitors outside of our party to ensure we kept to schedule- a very professional performance making sure we had the best experience of this wonderful church both inside and on the roof tour. Highly recommended 😊

Hot and sweaty tour of Duomo

Just finished the tour with Samantha on a very hot busy day she was great kept 25 of us from not getting lost and was not afraid to let other people know that they were pushing a very long line. I would highly recommend the tour and her as a guide

Excellent Guide and a must-do for the Duomo!

Carmine was an excellent guide with a deep knowledge of Milan’s history and culture. He explained everything in an engaging and approachable way, and the skip-the-line access and rooftop visit were absolutely worth it and added so much to the experience. He went above and beyond - offering thoughtful recommendations on places to visit, eat, and explore afterward. Several of his suggestions ended up being highlights of my trip. He created a friendly group atmosphere that made the tour enjoyable from start to finish. Highly recommend!

It was beautiful to see...

It was beautiful to see Duomo, few things to keep on mind; taking early group tour would be better due to hot and humid weather in Milan. The audio was not working properly with the guide trying his best to make it work! The guide was good explaining all the details in spite of audio issues. It is must visit place.

An Awesome tour of Duomo

Carmine was an exceptional guide on our Duomo tour today. He was very articulate and informative staying focused on the group and making sure we were all coping during this heatwave. We benefited from his knowledge and of the history and details of the cathedral. A welcome addition to our trip!
