Milan Coffee & History Crawl with a Licensed Tour Guide

Description
A great exploratory combination of coffee and history. Italy is well known around the world for espresso but there are many different ways we make coffee and enjoy it. Milan is the only city where you can try the northern and southern Italian Coffee. Born & raised in Napoli, our espresso is World Heritage - I live and breathe coffee! so I can’t wait to share with you the history and curiosities about coffee in Italy and what makes Milan one of the most important cities for the invention of the espresso! During the tour we will stop at several coffee places and we will discover the history of the highlights of this beautiful city. In the price I have included a coffee and a free coffee tasting at another one of my favourites coffee spots, but feel free to try more along the way. Great for solo travelers, families, groups and for people who want to discover the city with a local.

I absolutely loved every minute of this tour. Maria truly made the experience—her passion for coffee and its history really shines through in everything she does. What made the tour so special were the unique coffee stops along the way. I got to try some incredible coffees that I never would have discovered on my own, and each one was thoughtfully chosen. Maria was also incredibly friendly and kind, creating such a warm and welcoming atmosphere throughout. I would highly recommend going on her tour—it’s a fantastic experience for any coffee lover!
The last thing you’d associate with Milan is coffee: you think luxury, fashion, design. Maria completely changed that for me. Every iconic landmark I’d heard of became the backdrop for this walk through history, art, and authentic Italian coffee culture. This wasn’t just a perfect introduction to Milan, but it also took me straight to the heart of the connection between Northern and Southern Italy, with coffee as the unexpected common denominator. If you want to feel it, you just have to taste it. Maria is knowledgeable and genuinely funny, and she will help make your stay in Milan unforgettable. You don’t want to miss this!
Couldn’t recommended highly enough! Maria is clearly so passionate about coffee and history. Her tour is full of interesting stops from a variety of different points in italian history, interspersed with coffee breaks representing multiple different italian-born methods of coffee preparation. I had so much fun!
We had an amazing time in Milan during our team-building trip, and the city and coffee tour with Maria was an absolute highlight! Maria is full of passion and knowledge — she brought Milan’s history and landmarks to life with fascinating stories and fun facts that even those of us who had visited Milan before had never heard. And the coffee… wow! We tasted so many fantastic varieties at some of the city’s best spots. It was a true sensory experience and a great way to explore Milan through its coffee culture. Maria is also such a warm, friendly person who made us feel very welcome and made the whole tour a joy from start to finish. This was one of the most memorable moments of our trip — we highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Milan. Thank you again, Maria!
It' been a pleasure meeting you! This is the best review ever. Thank you so much!
Absolutely worth it! Maria is extremely knowledgeable about the area, and historical elements that make the tour so interesting! She is a true professional, with a passion for coffee and a lovely personality. An amazing experience!
We attended this tour whist on a short break to Milan. The tour started at the Starbucks roastery near to Duomo. Maria met us and introduced us to the coffee and other highlights of Milan. She was very knowledgeable and friendly I would recommend this tour to anyone who wants interaction in a small group and a one to one experience rather than some of the bigger tours A reasonable amount of walking so be prepared with comfortable shoes and sun tan lotion
Thank you so much! I had a great time with you!
I so enjoyed this Milan experience. Maria is professional and committed; she did the tour even though I ended up being the only one booked. Although I had already done a number of other visits & tours, I learned so much more about Milan and saw such interesting places. As a coffee lover, the coffee aspect was perfect - have never had such a range of delicious coffees before. I highly recommend this tour - it enriched my stay in Milan. Would suggest doing tour on arrival in Milan to gain a good overview and to learn the local tips that Maria provides.
I'm so glad you enjoyed both Milan and the coffee! Thank you!
100% Recommend! And it's the only coffee crawl in Milano. However, aside from a deep passion and understanding of coffee in general and Italian coffee culture, Maria is extremely knowledgeable about Milano and Italian history so you get a two-in-one walking tour, coffee and history. We must have stopped at four or five different yet uniqie coffee shops (I sampled at each one) as well as multiple historical sights. Great tour, very informative. Would do again!
It was a wonderful tour. Maria is a knowledgeable and friendly Guide who makes you feel at home. I will definitely come back with my family and do the tour again with her. Thanks for the great experience! ❤️
beautiful experience, I learned about the history of coffee and drank excellent coffees. top guide. recommended tour thanks maria
