Itinerary
The day begins with morning pickup and check in, as travelers board our comfortable shared transportation. During this first part, the team welcomes the group and organizes everyone before departure. Since several travelers may be joining from different locations, the process can take a little time. Once the group is ready, we will begin the road trip toward Chichen Itza. The drive takes approximately 3 hours, giving you time to settle in, relax, and get ready for one of the most important historical visits of the day.
Before arriving at Chichen Itza, the route may include a brief stop near points of interest close to the archaeological area. When the group reaches the site, travelers will leave the bus and walk with the guides toward the main entrance. During this short walk, the guides will assist the group with directions and useful information before entering one of the most iconic ancient cities in Mexico. Inside Chichen Itza, you will enjoy approximately 1 hour with a guide who will explain the history, architecture, myths, and cultural importance of this ancient Mayan city. After the guided visit, you will have about 1 hour of free time to explore independently, take photos, visit souvenir areas, or buy a drink or snack. Please follow your guide’s instructions carefully, as they will confirm the exact meeting time to return to the bus.
The experience continues with a visit to Suytun Cenote, one of the most famous cenotes in the region. Cenotes were considered sacred natural formations by the ancient Maya and were often associated with spiritual beliefs and the underworld. The ride to the cenote takes approximately 45 minutes. Once there, travelers will have time to enjoy its cool and clear waters in a unique natural setting. Bring your swimsuit, as this stop includes time to swim and experience one of the most special landscapes of the Yucatan Peninsula.
The tour also includes a visit to Ik Kil Cenote, a beautiful and internationally recognized natural site surrounded by impressive rock walls, hanging vegetation, and a powerful connection with nature. During this stop, travelers will have approximately 45 minutes to swim and enjoy the cenote. Near the cenote, you will also enjoy a buffet lunch with regional dishes and traditional Mexican flavors. This is your time to eat comfortably and try different food options before continuing the journey.
The final visit takes place in Valladolid, Yucatan, a colonial city known for its colorful streets, peaceful atmosphere, local traditions, and beautiful architecture. This stop offers a glimpse into the everyday charm and cultural identity of the Yucatan. Travelers will have approximately 30 to 45 minutes of free time to walk around, take photos, enjoy the surroundings, and experience the local atmosphere at their own pace. This stop adds a cultural and traditional closing touch to a day filled with history, nature, and regional beauty.
After the visit to Valladolid, the guide will indicate the meeting time and location to board the bus again. Once everyone is back on board, the return trip to Cancun and the Riviera Maya will begin. The ride back takes approximately 3 hours, offering time to rest after a full day of exploration. You can relax in the vehicle and reflect on a journey that included one of the New Seven Wonders of the World, sacred cenote waters, and the cultural heart of Yucatan. When the transportation reaches your drop off point, our team will let you know so you can safely leave the vehicle and conclude the experience.

- Since April 21, 2026, archaeological sites in Mexico have enforced security rules that do not allow visitors to enter with backpacks or luggage. We suggest carrying only the essentials for the visit, preferably small items that can fit in your pockets or in a compact personal bag. Some exceptions may apply, such as diaper bags, but the final decision is made by the security personnel at the site. We are not responsible for any belongings that are refused at the entrance. For this tour, however, travelers may leave their items inside the transportation vehicle while completing the scheduled stops.
- During tour stops, guests may only access the transportation vehicle when the guide or staff indicates the official boarding time. Entering the vehicle earlier or staying inside while the rest of the group is away is not allowed, since other travelers may have personal belongings stored inside. This policy is applied for security reasons and to protect everyone’s items.
- Vehicles and seats for group transportation are assigned by the operations team based on the availability and organization of the day. Guests cannot personally choose a specific bus, minibus, or seat online, in person, or with our staff. Although we always try to help travelers ride comfortably, we cannot hold, reserve, or guarantee exact seats or spaces inside a particular vehicle.

If the reservations start from different cities, this coordination cannot be handled.
- This tour only operates pickups from the cities and areas listed in the Transportation section. Travelers cannot join the tour directly at Chichen Itza, at any attraction included in the itinerary, or at any location outside the authorized pickup regions. For example, meeting the group at Chichen Itza with your own vehicle is not permitted. However, requesting pickup from a hotel located within the listed service areas (example: Moon Palace resort) may be possible. For safety, communication, and proper tour organization, all travelers must meet our team in the morning at the assigned pickup location, board our transportation service, and complete the required check in process before the tour begins.

You may send this information through any of our available contact channels. After the cutoff time, last minute pickup arrangements can no longer be processed. If the required hotel or meeting point details are not received on time, the booking will automatically be moved to the next available date. This rescheduling is free of charge and does not include any penalty or additional fee. However, once this automatic rescheduling applies, the reservation will no longer qualify for a refund.
- The times shown in the itinerary refer to the overall duration of each segment, including transportation between locations, the visit or activity time at the stop, and the time needed to continue or return along the route. These times should not be understood as the exact amount of time spent only at each attraction. Please review the itinerary details for the approximate breakdown of timing throughout the experience.
- Our team always works to follow the planned schedule as closely as possible. However, the timing of the tour also depends on travelers being ready at the assigned pickup time in the morning and returning on time at each stop during the day. Traffic conditions may also affect the route and are outside our control. Please help us keep the experience organized by respecting the indicated meeting times and the time allowed at each location. Even a delay that seems small, such as arriving one minute late, can build up throughout the day and affect a significant part of the overall schedule.
- The box lunch included in this experience is fixed. It is served as part of the regular meal option and cannot be adapted for special diets, food restrictions, or personal meal preferences.
- This tour involves a lot of walking, so we recommend wearing comfortable shoes and clothing.

Excellent experience! The service was very good.
When you go to the Pyramids, on the tours that precede the visit, don't walk too much and don't even spend money on the coisitas, because it's all very expensive. Ten times the normal price found on the Cancun market.
This tour ended up being one of the best parts of our vacation honestly. Chichen Itza was even more impressive in person and our guide made the whole experience really interesting without talking too much or making it feel boring. Cenote Suytun was absolutely beautiful, it looked just like the pictures and felt super peaceful. Then going to Cenote Ik Kil after was amazing too, jumping into the fresh water after walking around all day felt perfect. Everything was really well organized, transportation was comfortable, and the timing of each stop felt just right. We took so many pictures and made a lot of good memories during the day. Definitely recommend this tour if you want a mix of history, nature, and a really fun experience
Lovely Time! My hotel wasn’t part of the listed pick up spots, so we selected on just 4 minutes from ours. Driver arrived right on time! Day started with a nice drive to the first Cenote! Brunch was ham sandwiches! Your guide Josue was entertaining and informative! Driver Orlando kept us going! And our “barista” Chan kept the beers and soft drinks going in between stops! Remember to bring towels! But spray is sold on the bus just in case the mosquitoes bother you! Chichén Itzá is a must see when in Cancun! This tour was a nice long day of swimming, and site seeing the historical ancient city! Recommend!!
