It opened in 1989 and is named after the founder of Lotte Group, Shin Kyuk-ho's first word when he landed in Japan during his early days as an immigrant - lotte. Excellent service, online tickets arrived within 1 day of ordering
I think our expectations were too high, since we are big fans of US amusement parks. And maybe if my kids were 5-8 years old, this would have been more fun. We DID find the thinly veiled takes on American characters pretty funny ("Where's Wally" instead of "Where's Waldo" and The Adventures of "Sind Bad" instead of "Sinbad"), and a couple of my kids enjoyed the more "thrilling" rides, of which there were really only a couple available. The food offered was just okay. Overall, we would not go back, and should have skipped it. It took some time to get there and overall felt like a waste of time.
