Ian our tour guide was the best. He was very nice and extremely knowledgeable about all things British Rock and Roll. He customized the tour based on what EVERYONE was interested in and helped get the best pics to commemorate the day.
Our guide Ian was very knowledgeable and knows his way around the city. He wanted feedback from us regarding what our interests were and what we wanted to see.
Efficient, organised, timely and great service. When phoning to clarify if event proceeding due to issues in London (Marches, FA Cup Final, Flower show and rail closures) responder was very clear as to how matters would proceed. Guide (Ian Luck aka "Lucky') was very knowledgable, accommodating and amusing. Various houses seen (from the road, obviously) that are or were owned by Mssrs Jagger, Richards, Mercury, Page, McCartney plus Abbey studios (again, from the outside) and the infamous zebra crossing nearby. Stupidly, I left my mobile on the coach and when phoning, again spoke to a human being who was most helpful. Rang back today as requested and arranged pick up that went smoothly. So for me, the staff went above and beyond to assist me.
Mainly on a tour bus with a couple of breaks to stretch your kegs and purchase merchandise from record shop if you wanted to.
Clive was a wonderful tour guide. There was so much music knowledge shared. We even got out tour extended since it worked out. Would highly recommend this tour and if you get Clive, an extra bonus.
Ian (Lucky) was extraordinary and above and beyond excellent. Local knowledge, rock history, and a fantastic personality. 10 stars out of 10. This was a premier highlight of our London visit. TY Lucky !
Terrible lack of communication. I was 3 mins late. I altered tour company through app . They texted back that they would wait. I arrived and guide had left. I texted and received no answers. I finally called and company shrugged it off. So far, have refused to give a refund
I previously lived in London, but my husband is a huge classic rock fan had never been before and really wanted to see where it all began. He wanted to cross Abbey Road and see where the Beatles played on the rooftop. He really enjoyed the whole tour and I learned things I hadn't before on my many tours while I had lived in London previously. Clive was a great tour guide and since he is a musician himself, seemed to really relish the feel of the tour and enthusiasm for the ROCK!
Our guide, Steve, was full of information about both Rock and Roll and London. He easily engaged his audience and has a great sense of humor. I can't for the life of me remember our driver's name, but he was a navigation wizard on a high traffic day due to the tube drivers' strike. We had booked this trip for last year and missed the bus, so we had to come back to London to try again. It was more than worth it!
Absolutely fantastic afternoon out. Our tour guide Frank was a fountain of knowledge and even showed us another couple of places after the tour had finished. Thank you Frank, you are an absolute star!!
