It was like having my mum in the car telling me little snippets about where we were, I really enjoyed it. The tips for when to stop and what to look out for made the travelling part of the weekend away for me.
The commentary is not always in the direction you are traveling. You will need a second person in the car to tap on points of interest well in advance. We started our trip where the “tour” recommended but it appears the commentary was made with no particular direction in mind. If you wait for the virtual tour to comment on points of interest on its own you will be well past the site. For the money it did give us some information of interest.
It was an extremely good idea. We got lost a couple of times because the directions were a tad too late but overall enjoyed the whole thing and it was a very reasonable afternoon out.
This was the first time to use this type of service. Easy download and to follow great idea and very informative.
An excellent trip and awesome value for money. A really good tour with lots of information, history and superb views.
Tour took us to places we would not otherwise have gone for example the A55 to Anglesey very briefly going over both the bridges which connect it to the mainland.
