The Ultimate Session is unique in the UK, offering continuous world-class rapids, with almost no flat water between! A dam release guarantees the quality and constancy of rapids. (Other UK rivers cannot promise this due to unpredictable British weather!) Your adventure will start and end at our riverside centre with thick 4-season wetsuits and full safety equipment allocation. After a quick instructional session, we will bus you to the head of the river where a massive 9 cumecs of pure mountain water begins it's cascade through ancient woodland. This is the country's best whitewater rafting, staffed by guides with international experience. Over 3 descents you will play, freestyle and surf down fast, clean whitewater, each run increasing in excitement and challenge. A spectacular choice for a rainy day activity, the weather cannot soak you more than we will! On a hot day, nothing feels fresher than punching through rapid after rapid. This is a truly wild day out!

Fantastic experience. Everyone in the group (10 people) thoroughly enjoyed it. George was a great guide who explained everything clearly and made it extra fun.

The overall experience was excellent. Our trainer, Brendan, demonstrated exceptional knowledge and provided invaluable assistance. The facilities were meticulously maintained, and the safety briefings were highly effective. Ample parking is available, and a delightful cafe is conveniently located by the stream. Wetsuit and boot hire services are offered, and we appreciated the opportunity to upgrade our package on-site.
Excellent, just excellent. The best way to celebrate a 60th birthday. I couldn’t have asked for more. Our instructor Charlie made us feel at ease, safe and that we had a great fun time… thank you

Best fun I've had in years. I'm 73 so never to old to try new things.
So mixed bag, the actual white water rafting was excellent, really enjoyed it personally and though for the cost it was good value, thought the guide was great, however, issues that have made this a 4 star review are (note I'd like to have gone 3.5 but that wasn't an option):- 1. Communicate better the actual details of the expereince (i.e. you'll be doing 3 runs down the river, you'll need to lug the dingy onto the trailer and then from the trailer to the water after each run, its quite heavy). I'm sure somewhere it tells you this but it wasn't obvious and most folk can't be bothered reading the detail and would miss this stuff. 2. Wet suits and shoe's - They will be cold and wet, not the nicest thing to put on and quite tricky to get on for those who arn't used to putting them on (most of our group put them on inside out..!) 3. Changing rooms - Were pretty grim and lacked facilities (i.e. any form of dryers) 4. Food and drink - Quite expensive and not great quality
