Description
Lisbon is best discovered on foot - on this city tour accompanied by a German-speaking city guide with exciting insights into Portuguese history, culture and current topics. Starting at Rossio Square, the small group (max. 12 participants) explores the districts of Baixa, Chiado, Bairro Alto and Alfama. On the way from the lower town to the poets' quarter of Chiado, the group admires the Santa Justa elevator first from below, then from the viewing platform with a view of the lower town and Lisbon Castle. Then it goes from the Carmo monastery ruins through the Chiado district. After a climb through the residential district of Bairro Alto, which is quiet during the day (nightlife awakens here in the evening), the group reaches the viewing point where they linger for a break. After a taste, it goes to Alfama, the oldest district, with its viewing points and winding alleys. The end is at the Praça do Comércio, directly on the Tejo River and the impressive triumphal arch.

Four enjoyable hours with Pedro in a nice small group with many great insider tips. Pedro is a native of Lisbon and is married to a woman from Hamburg. Since Walk'n Roll is one of the very few providers of German-speaking tours, I can recommend them with a clear conscience and full conviction.
The booked 3.5-hour city tour with Milena from Walk'n Roll Tours was very good. Expertly and professionally led by her and filled with a lot of information (history, social life, insider tips, etc.) sprinkled throughout. A break at one of the most beautiful miradouros, a small typical cherry liqueur, and later a totally delicious Pastel de Nata. Thank you! Next time we will book a different tour, but definitely with Walk'n Roll Tours.
We became aware of "Wunderschön" with Tamina Kallert. Just tried it out! And how fine and family-oriented this tour with Melina was! Great history and many little stories made this tour a great experience! And a Melina who made no secret of her love for Lisbon!

Very nice city tour; Sara conveyed a lot about the tumultuous history of Lisbon to us (a group of 8 people) during the tour. The 3.5 hours flew by, plus recommendations for good restaurants, shops, and sights to see - as well as those that are not necessarily worth it. On our next visit, we will book a tour with Walk’N’Roll again.
We had a great city tour together with Melina. Although there were only 6 of us, the city tour was conducted. Melina is a knowledgeable, empathetic tour guide who explained her adopted home of Lisbon to us very vividly and authentically in 3.5 hours. We can 100% recommend this city tour in German.
