This 2-hour swamp tour of New Orleans starts with pickup from your downtown hotel. After a 35-minute drive along the Mississippi River by air-conditioned van, you'll arrive at your destination.
Meet your airboat captain and settle into your seat on the 16-passenger vessel, then prepare for a wild ride into the swamp. Powered by a 454 Chevy engine and propelled by huge fans, the airboat travels at speeds up to 25 miles per hour (40 kph). The captain performs exhilarating high-speed maneuvers, cruises at gentle speeds, and makes plenty of photo stops while narrating on the wildlife and local flora. Alligator sightings are common in these waters, but your guide is trained to ensure safety at all times during this family-friendly outing. After your tour concludes, relax with transport back to your hotel in New Orleans.

**You must be out front of your location at the beginning of the pickup window or the bus will be forced to leave.** Pickup from most major downtown New Orleans hotels. If you hotel is not listed please list in comments area or reach out to us directly on our phone number. For pickups, there will be a 30 minute window. Please be on the lookout for a bus that says Alert Transportation. 8:00 AM pickup will be sometime between 8:00 AM and about 8:30 AM. 10:20 AM pickup will be sometime between 10:20 AM and about 10:50 AM. 12:30 PM pickup will be sometime between 12:30 PM and about 1:00 PM. 3:00 PM pickup (seasonal) will be sometime between 3:00 PM and about 3:30 PM.

- When traveling with multiple passengers, you must make one booking with all passengers to insure that you are on the same boat. If you did not book together, you are not guaranteed to be together.
- Service animals are permitted but not recommended due to the volume of noise on the boat and threats of surrounding wildlife.
- Emotional support animals are not permitted.
- Please note you are not guaranteed to see a gator. They hibernate in winter months but are easily spotted in spring, summer, and fall.
- Folding wheelchairs are allowed on the bus, but the driver is not allowed to pick up a person to help them gain entrance. The customer must get into the minibus by themselves or with assistance from family or friends.
- • Airboats are not handicapped accessible. There are no lifts or ramps available for use. Guests must be able to get on or off of the boat themselves or with the help of someone in their party.

Exactly what we were looking for!! Dewey was a great tour guide, got to see lots of alligators and wildlife, the airboat ride was great, the kids and adults both loved it. Highly recommend this tour.
It was an amazing experience. We had dewy as our guide and he was very friendly and kept us safe. The tour itself was really fun as the boat goes fast but not scary fast and we got to hold an alligator and see many in the water! Would 100% recommend everyone choose this company and ask for dewy!
This was my second experience with Kenny. He was my captain when I took the boat tour two years ago. This year however I took the airboat and it was about 9 people. It was well balanced enough room. And I saw gators. Kenny did not disappoint. Top notch professionalism. Will continue to bring friends and family in this tour! The pick was wonderful. With Alert Transportation.
Great time with the family. Did the airboat tour and Trey was awesome! Really knowledgeable, took time to see and talk about the wildlife, and very friendly. We took really nice photos and even better videos. 10 out of 10, would recommend.
Our tour was amazing! Our tour guide was Dewy and he was phenomenal! He was very entertaining and had knowledge about the wildlife at specific locations in the swamp which allowed him to personally interact with the gators and raccoons and allow us plenty of photo opportunities. I would highly recommend this tour and Dewy!!

Fabulous trip with Captain Jason who was passionate about the nature of the swamps and extremely knowledgeable! Saw lots of gators in beautiful scenery during a fun ride would 100% recommend! It was the highlight of our trip.
Was nice to have curbside pick up! Activity was fun out guides Tiffany and Stephanie were awesome! Loved that they allowed us to also try tricks!
Trey gave us an awesome tour of the swamp, took us up close and personal with the gators, drove his airboat like a pro, and entertained us with jokes and entertainment throughout! Bus pick up and drop off made things super easy. An absolute must while visiting NOLA!!
Enjoyed the overall experience. Disappointed that our guide "let" another guide/boat interact on shore with the large gator MJ because the other guide was off for a couple of days. Randomly just stopped moving at the end to kill time for what seemed like 20 minutes. It got hot and would have preferred to have been at least cruising around instead of just sitting there for no reason.
