We had a great experience this morning. I was able to book last minute and our family of 4 (2 adults 2 teens) thoroughly enjoyed the hour it took to make our chopsticks. The staff are lovely and knowledgeable. Thank you, Ms Angelia and Ms Sheena, from our international family ☺️
Very friendly and helpful staff. Fun experience if you enjoy working with your hands
Just did the chopstick making course with Megumi, who was absolutely awesome. So welcoming and clear with instructions, gave us so many recommendations for our trip throughout Japan which will come in handy. It’s a very wholesome experience and one we can’t recommend enough! Would visit again :)
What a wonderful experience to do as a family The instructors were lovely and friendly
Our family of four really enjoyed our time at this chopstick making studio after visiting the Bamboo forest. Ayako was our wonderful host and instructor who taught us about the various types of wood which we could make our own chopsticks with. Making the chopsticks was a bit of workout! We came away personalized chopsticks and a lasting family memory. I would highly recommend this experience if you are in Arashiyama visiting!
Rika was excellent as she led us through the chopstick making process which took about a hour in total. She was knowledgeable and personable. The process itself was easy and enjoyable. The fee was worth the experience and you can upgrade your chopsticks with engravings and chopstick holders which cost extra. We would highly recommend this experience for visitors to Japan!
Leo was absolutely amazing, he made the process very fun and exciting. Great sense of humor and very helpful.
Had the most amazing special experience with my family. The staff were so attentive and informative on the process
Great experience and very nice people!
We arrived a bit earlier for our workshop just to be so beautifully welcomed by the staff and invited to even start earlier dispite the room being almost full. My ten year old enjoyed it so much and got his chopsticks engraved even. I strongly recomend this workshop to anyone who will be using their creations. Nothing better than eating with a tool made by you
