Was amazing with the guide ahmad ! He hold intensive info about the area! Very well educated and high knowledge! Also the driver was calm and well oriented ! I enjoyed the trip
I anticipated the tour would start at 11:00. I was never contacted by the tour guide until 10:30 the night before. Then before scheduling a time, he went to bed. I hadn’t heard from him by 9:00am so I could texted him. He said we would go at 4:00. I said I had t planned to spend the day in my hotel room but he couldn’t accomodate. - so I paid another $100 to last minute set up a tour to fill my day and get back to the hotel by 4:00. I was back at 4:00 when he let me know the driver he was sending was running 1-1.5 hours late. I was too exasperated and didn’t want to be out late so I canceled. They should be more considerate of your vacation time and planning. He did refund, but it was a wasted vacation day as I didn’t get to do what I felt I had set up to do To his credit, he did refund - but would have much rather had the tour.
Loved walking through the local markets and the Egyptian Museum. The guide was great, tailored visits to my interests, and made everything much easier and informative.
