There is a self guided tour with a headset. Be sure to look at the garden too! The Princess Diana statue is lovely.
We enjoyed the tour and thought the tour guide Philip was very knowledgeable and equipped to lead the walking tour. It was an amazing experience!
I loved the palace and gardens, but mostly the stories of the guides insides different rooms of the palace. We found out how queen Caroline died and about the morning princess Victoria became queen. Very informative and fun!
It was interesting historically but didn’t take three hours as was indicated when buying the tickets. Not sure it was the best value for money.
Interesting visit of the Georgian rooms of Kensington Palace as well as Queen Victoria‘s childhood apartments (beautifully restored). An additional exhibit on three Anglo–Indian princesses was included and was fascinating too. There is a nice cafe and gift shop. The price includes the entrance ticket so you can enter the palace anytime on the day you book for. There is no guided tour included. but there is a very good audio guide.
Nothing other than be in line for your appointed time. It doesn't take more than 90 minutes to two hours to view everything. Don't miss the Princess Di garden before you leave.
We were very underwhelmed by the experience at the palace. The positive was the garden with the Diana sunken garden being a highlight, but the inside of the palace is totally lacklustre. It was more like a second or third rate National Trust property. Don’t expect any rooms with important furniture and richly decorated. Having been to Chatsworth recently the contrast couldn’t be greater. We thought it was expensive and wouldn’t recommend it.
So happy we didn’t pass this up! Absolutely loved every part of the palace! So stunning from start to finish! Rich with history and truly a great experience! 10/10
Disappointing. We expected to see more about the modern Royal Family and especially about Princess Diana. The sunken garden was beautiful and peaceful and the gardens lovely.
I was expecting more relevant and current information and content. The audio tour was informative and it’s 3 different tours. Expect about an hour-2.
