Description

Arrive at The O2 and safely float in an 800-horsepower vertical wind tunnel that generates a wall-to-wall cushion of air commonly used by professional skydivers without having to jump from a plane. Just about anyone can fly and no experience is necessary. Once inside the flight chamber, a tunnel operator slowly increases the wind speed until you and your instructor are airborne. Feel the adrenaline rush as you float at wind speeds reaching 130 to 175 mph (209 to 282 kph). The stable wall-to-wall airflow keeps you from falling off the column of air and your instructor is on hand at all times to guide you. The entire Indoor Skydiving experience takes about 90 minutes from start to finish. Each session includes up to 13 people, but you fly one-on-one with your instructor twice - the same freefall time as three tandem skydives! To ensure our team are able to fly you, it's vital you arrive at the venue no less than 45minutes before your booked flight time.

Tried indoor skydiving at iFLY London (O2) and honestly… what an experience! 🤯✨ From the moment you step in, the whole team makes you feel super comfortable and excited. The training is quick, easy to follow, and before you know it, you’re actually flying! The highlight for me was definitely the high fly, that moment when they take you up higher in the tunnel… it literally feels like real skydiving Such a fun, unique experience and perfect for anyone wanting to try something adventurous without jumping out of a plane 😄 100% worth it and something I’d do again!

Incredible experience at IFly in London

I took my daughter to Fly, we arrived a few hours early but was able to sit up in the viewing gallery and experience the joy of everyone flying as we waited for our booked timing. My daughter whom is 12 was intrigued she chose to stay versus going to get food! When it was finally time for her to fly her instructor was very pleasant and although I was not flying h made sure to include me in on what was taking place and ensuring I was comfortable with her flying! We only booked two flights but will definitely book more next time :D!! The team’s dynamic was great and they all seemed to thoroughly enjoy what they do! -Av’ry mom ( Stevontae Somersall-Ahknaton)

We can fly 🤘😎🤘

My 14-year-old son and I were thrilled to have this experience at iFLY. The instructors were professional, friendly, and made us feel completely safe from the start. Such an exciting and unforgettable experience — we’ll definitely be back!

What a fabulous experience, thank you iFLY O2 and Dale!

Fabulous experience. Booked as a gift for my husband and our 12 year old boy. My son was little nervous about it at first but our instructor Dale put him at ease and he enjoyed it so much that we ended up purchasing a discounted package for him to be able to return in few weeks. Dale was great taking them for the high flights and looked after them very well. yes, it is expensive but it is such a unique experience that it is worth it. I was impressed how well organised everything was! Thank you iFLY O2 team and thank you Dale!

Extra money

I was very disappointed. Be prepared to pay extra money if you think the whole service is included in the price of your ticket. No — when you arrive, they will still ask you for more money for other flights that you thought were already included. What you see in the videos is not what you get for that price.

Operator response

Hi, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that your experience left you feeling disappointed. Optional add-ons, such as additional flights or High-Flight, are available for those who wish to enhance their experience, which is why they are offered as optional extras. The additional cost reflects the higher wind speeds required and the specialised instructor training needed to safely provide this experience. Media packages, including photos and videos, are captured from fixed camera positions inside the tunnel to ensure safety and consistency during flights. This can sometimes affect angles and coverage, which may differ from what guests expect. If you would like us to review your visit in more detail, please contact us at support@iflyworld.co.uk or call 0161 359 7040, and our team will be happy to assist further. Kind regards, The iFLY Team

Fantastic, fun and well run as instructors are great!

It was a fantastic experience I felt fully supported and safe as Yian is a fantastic instructor who clearly enjoys his job. Yian was friendly, professional, enthusiastic and helpful and the experience was great fun. I love that the instructors demo at the end it’s great to see what’s possible.

Horrible experience not recommended at all

I had a very disappointing experience at iFLY London. I took my 6-year-old daughter for her first indoor skydiving experience. She was extremely excited, listened carefully to all the instructions, and was really looking forward to it. However, once inside, the instructor removed her in less than a minute. He didn’t even attempt to give her a proper experience—no real flying, just holding her briefly before taking her out. She was left confused and frustrated, waiting for her second turn. She was so upset she was crying under her mask. By the time her next turn came, she was too overwhelmed and refused to participate at all. What makes this worse is that I paid £60 for photos and videos—only to receive memories of my daughter being upset rather than enjoying what should have been a special experience. When I tried to raise this concern, the staff at the front desk were dismissive and immediately defended the instructor, claiming my daughter “wasn’t ready.” If that’s the case, why was she allowed to go in at all? Why take full payment if a child is deemed unfit to participate? And isn’t the whole point of instructors to guide beginners—especially children—through their first experience? This felt unprofessional, poorly handled, and frankly unfair. A first-time experience for a child should be handled with patience and care, not rushed and dismissed. I would not recommend this place for young children, especially if it’s their first time.

Operator response

Hi, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re very sorry to hear about your daughter’s experience. Our instructors always aim to adapt each flight to the flyer’s comfort and ability in the moment, particularly with young children, and decisions made in the tunnel are guided by safety and the individual flyer’s response during the session. We’re sorry to hear this left your daughter upset, and we understand how disappointing that must have been for you both. We’re also sorry to hear about your concerns regarding how this was handled afterwards, as well as the media package. We’d like to review your visit in more detail. Please contact us at support@iflyworld.co.uk or call 0161 359 7040, and our team will be happy to look into this further. Kind regards, The iFLY Team

Overpriced and misleading

This experience was extremely disappointing. My sister and i took our 3 boys to the o2 and both felt it was ridiculously overpriced and misleading. We booked them in for a basic flight which is exactly that , basic! Hoovering just slighly off the ground and being held by an instructer for not even a minute , only twice. So we decided to pay another £60 to allow them a high fly. Its slightly more exciting as you get to fly up a little way in the wind tunnel circulating with the instructor. But you get no more time, still only les than a minute each flight. However not once did anyone explain when paing the extra or in the de brief room that the high fly is only for one out of your two flights. So when they signal you on the second flight whilst holding your child in the wind tunnel to go up , we naturally 👍 to say yes we had paid. But that was an extra £45. Two out of the three boys had issues with equipment, glasses and helmets wobbling around so they had to stop to sort that out. And one of the boys flight was cut short due to the instructor telling a lady to put her helmet back on in the waiting area. The comunication was awful and the information given was unclear. Although the boys quite enjoyed those less than 2 minutes each , there was a lot of waiting and it cost us nearly £200 !

Operator response

Hi, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re pleased to hear that the boys enjoyed the experience, although we’re sorry to hear that other aspects of your visit left you feeling disappointed. The number of flights you experience will depend on the flight package purchased, but please be aware that each flight is typically about 60 seconds in length, often a bit longer, but never shorter than 50 seconds. It may not sound long, but this is more time than freefalling during an actual skydive. The full experience lasts around 1.5 hours, including check-in, briefing, gearing up, and your time in the tunnel. Regarding the High-Flight, this is an optional add-on that takes place during one of the flights already included in the package. It is recommended during booking and also mentioned before flying so guests can decide in advance or on the day whether they would like to include it. The additional cost reflects the higher wind speeds and specialised instructor training required to safely provide this experience. We’re also sorry to hear about the equipment issues during your session, as this can impact the experience, and we’d like to review this further. If you’re happy to share more details, please contact us at support@iflyworld.co.uk or call 0161 359 7040, and our team will be happy to look into this further. Kind regards, The iFLY Team
