Amazing day.

Thomas was very informative. He was great as he tried to keep our small children interested. We felt he went out of his way to make this a memorable experience. I highly recommend. We took amazing photos of the historical ruins. Going into Augustus’s house and inside the Senate house were the highlights. The views from the terraces were great.

Excellent tour, highly recommended

My tour was conducted by Tommaso Bergamo. It was excellent. Tommaso is a research archeologist who has learned through experience the history and detail of the Palatine and the Forum. His mastery of the facts and his ability to tell a story make his tours a treasure. I highly recommend Tommaso at Viator!

Archeologist Tour WOW

Our guide was fantastic. He took his time and gave us lots of extra information. He worked to make sure that we understood the history of the roman empire and the archeological site. We were thrilled. He answered all questions and was really helpful. We loved it. Loved having the guide to ourselves to really delve into everything! It was great!

Palatine Hill tour a “must”!

Our guide, Donato, led my wife and I on a fabulous three hour tour of the Palatine Hill, including an overview of the Roman Forum. Donato provided great detail on the archeological and historical elements of the imperial palaces and was extremely receptive to our questions. We highly recommend this tour to anyone who has a deep interest in this period of history.

Super exciting tour

Bruno was a wonderful guide. He had a lot of fun facts to share about everything from plants to mythology and Roman emperors. He also had an iPad with him and showed relevant pictures and reconstructions of buildings along the way. He was engaging and asked us about how things worked in our country to make comparisons. All in all it was a lovely tour and worth the extra money.
