Description
Join us for a day trip to Hiroshima, traveling by Shinkansen, on foot, and via local public transport! We will begin by visiting the Hiroshima Atomic Bomb Dome, followed by the nearby Peace Memorial Museum—an optional but highly recommended stop. These moving sites offer a chance for deep reflection on the consequences of World War II and will strengthen our commitment to peace. Next, we will head to Miyajima Island, famous for the Itsukushima Shinto Shrine and its iconic *torii* gate standing in the sea. Together, we will soak up the calm and serenity of the surroundings, featuring free-roaming Sika deer and abundant nature. Accompanied by a guide passionate about Japanese history, you will explore Japan’s past—both ancient and modern—and its long journey toward peace. It promises to be a day rich in history, reflection, and nature. Will you join us? We look forward to seeing you!

Thank you, Australian Friends for your booking and your fantastic review! Yes, The Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum is very moving. We are also glad you liked your visit at Miyajima. We hope to see you again!
We enjoyed our time exploring Hiroshima and Miyajima. It is quite sobering to visit the museum and see the exhibits. Definitely a must see. The gate at Miyajima was also a pinch me moment. If in Japan a must see for both. We appreciated our guide Mouloud taking us around and navigating train, ferry and bus stations, as well as information about different aspects of the locations.

Our private Hiroshima tour with Mouloud was fantastic! What an incredible way to experience Hiroshima. It was especially nice to have Mouloud handle all the logistics—bullet train, buses, JR train, and ferry—which made the day seamless and stress-free. Mouloud was very knowledgeable about Japan and shared fascinating context and history at every stop. Our itinerary included visits to a Shinto shrine, the Hiroshima Peace Memorial, a ferry ride to Miyajima, lunch, and more. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to explore the area on a tight schedule with the help of a friendly, well-informed guide.
