My brother and I had the best time with our guide Hamzah yesterday. We were picked up at 7:30am at our hotel. The van was spacious and comfortable. The seats recline so you can sleep on the way if you want. It’s a 4 hour drive to Hiroshima, and we did stop for a bathroom/snack break 2 hours in. We started the day with an hour of time at the Hiroshima museum (tickets were included). Next we explored the park, Hiroshima Dome and memorial. Hamzah offered to take photos of us along the way. Next we stopped at 7/11 for a quick snack break and we ate in the car during the drive to Miyajima. The ferry tickets to Miyajima were also included. Our guide didn’t go on the ferry with us but it’s so easy to navigate Miyajima. There are friendly deer there that walk right up to you. Miyajima is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been! We had about 2 hours total there. We left around 4pm and headed back to Osaka. We were back to our hotel around 8:20pm. Hamzah did an incredible job sharing the history of each place and pointing out things along the drive. It’s a long day but plenty of time to sleep in the van along the way. Hamzah always made sure we were well taken care of.

It is a long day but worth the trip, we travelled from Osaka to Hiroshima there were 5pf us on a private tour. Our driver Hanza was informative, his suggestion for lunch was Okonmiyaki, we hadn’t had anything like it. , it was delicious and reasonable. We finished the day by going over to Miyajama by ferry , saw the deers and Tori gate in the water. Thank you for a great day.

Hamzah was absolutely amazing. He adjusted the day to fit our particular interests. Supplying us with history from the moment he picked us up and throughout the day. Also took us to a local restaurant to experience a true Hiroshima speciality, Okonomiyaki. It Was fabulous!!! He was so pleasant to be with, English was great and we greatly enjoyed his company.
