Half Day Tour To The Grand Egyptian Museum Tour with Lunch.

We flew into Cairo. Mo met us at the airport and drove us directly to the GEM. With a Masters in Egyptology, he was able to take us on stout of the museum. Hitting the high points of this giant museum. Very knowledgeable. Afterwards yummy lunch with a view. We had asked about jewelry. He took us to a trusted jeweler where we bought cartouche. We spent a wonderful 3 days in Cairo with Mo from Desert Storm Tours. Mo is a very knowledgeable guide and Egyptologist. We had an excellent private tour of the Grand Egyptian Museum followed by an incredible lunch overlooking the magnificent pyramids. So memorable!

We arrived a day earlier than our fellow traveling companions and wanted to visit the newly opened GEM. We contacted Mo and arranged a pick up at our hotel. He was punctual and personable as well as knowledgeable about all things Egyptian. He provided a driver ( I have no idea how anyone drives here) who was fantastic. After the GEM we went to “the” papyrus shop and purchased several pieces (truly beautiful), then onto lunch (rooftop overlooking the pyramids of Giza), and top it off the food was amazing. We asked him to take is to the largest market for a short visit, it was sensory overload and during the day not overly crowded thank goodness. I would highly recommend Mo as a private guide when visiting Cairo!

The museum is a place where your mind blows by asking too many questions, a time capsule bringing back to ancient Egypt. Mohamed made our GEM visit absolutely amazing and worth it. He was on time and gave us a lot of details about the ancient Egyptian civilization. Details that you can only get when having a knowledgeable guide such as Mohamed with you in the GEM. Mohamed is also question-friendly, he will answer and take time to explain!! Which I highly appreciated since I had a lot of questions! My only regret is that I wish we had more time inside the GEM with Mohamed!!! We will come back and/with Mohamed!

We met Mo when he helped us through the Cairo airport. Mo’s associate whisked us through customs and visa before our bags came off the plane. Mo and his great driver got us to our hotel asap. The next day he took us to the GEM for a wonderful tour. His knowledge is amazing. On to his secret lunch spot which arguably has the best view in Cairo. I highly recommend Mo as you guide. What an incredible experience at the GEM with our guide Mo from Desert Storm Egypt Tours. We started our morning with Mo picking us up from our hotel, along with his expert driver. As we were heading to the GEM, Mo briefed us on the day's events and what to expect along with any questions we had for him. The GEM was just as amazing as I had read about and was so thankful we had our own Egyptologist to help us understand what we were seeing and the period it came from. Our time at the GEM went by so fast! Then to end our day Mo took us to lunch with this fabulous view of the Giza Pyramids. It was an amazing time! Also, Mo arranged our pick up from the Airport to take us to our hotel. He made all our arrangements, got our visa, and we were at our Cairo hotel in no time.
