My tour was canceled the morning of the tour. I was offered a new date or a full refund. I would not still be in town so I requested the refund. I have sent several texts to Bike Rent NYC. It has been over a week and no one has replied or refunded my money.
Our guide, whose name rhymes with Barney, needs to brush up on his Central Park facts. History, construction, plants, birds and more. He claimed every rock in Central Park was barged in. False. Nice guy, but do more research.
What went to Central Park on a beautiful spring day. Our guy knew a lot about the history of the park, both ancient history and recent. We saw some beautiful cardinals and also some birds of prey. Very friendly guide, and we got some free exercise too!
A fun nyc activity. I’ve been a long-term resident of nyc but had never taken this tour. It was really time well spent - learned a lot of new things about Central Park and the surrounding area. Definitely a recommend, especially if you have out-of-town visitors.
Our 12:00 tour was cancelled and we were not notified even though he had our email. When we showed up the manager said to come back in an hour and there was another guide. Our tour was given by a nice guy who usually gives bike tours. There was no in depth information. I could have given the tour myself. No pictures from in the past, when I asked for more details I googled the answer! We even backtracked over where we had walked. He kept repeating what a nice day it was. Obvious he does not give walking tours! The place is a biking tour company not walking tour
Do not book this tour! I booked for 3 people at $45 each and the guide never showed. We were there 20 minutes early and followed the exact instructions with someone who lives in NYC. We waited until 20 minutes after the start time - and nothing. I am going to have to ask for a refund. Very disappointed!
Aaron was excellent! Very knowledgeable and kept on schedule. Highly recommend. Have been in the park many times before but learned a lot
Aaron was really good, and we where able to see everything that was meaningfull. Weather was perfect and the group as well.
I booked a reservation for 5pm for the tour, which apparently did not exist. A few hours before the tour was scheduled to start, a Peter McGovern of the tour called to inform Trip Advisor posted the 5pm tour time in error and the tour is only scheduled at noon. Upon requesting a full refund for a scheduled tour which did not exist, he assured me I would receive a full refund confirmed in an email sent to the same email address I used to book the tour, within a couple minutes after our conversation ended. A day later, I have not received this email confirmation nor a full refund. Obviously, this tour smacks of fraud and the charge for the tour I intend to contest.
Our guide Michael took us to parts of Central Park that I hadn't been to before. It was a very beautful day and a great way to experience NYC.
