What was advertised in the description was not the experience we had. To start the meeting location was different than what was in the listing. It was the first Sunday so tickets were all free which could have changed our experience however we were told from the beginning that we would be given a brief tour, stand in line to get our tickets, receive our headsets and more of a tour before finally getting dropped off to explore the colosseum on our own. Instead we we were walked around the outside of the forum, no headsets were provided so it was difficult to hear the guide. We went to a ticket office where we were told we had to take off our stickers otherwise the ticket office wouldn’t give us tickets and received a timed entry for 2 hours later. There was no prior communication regarding how the free ticket day would impact our experience and while we eventually were able to go into the colosseum and enjoy the forum we had to rearrange other plans because the timing was not as advertised. Any communication prior would have been super appreciated and would have helped us set expectations. I would absolutely recommend going to the colosseum but would not book through this company.

When it is a free entrance day we do not have control of how things go becuase we too meed to follow the procedures placed by the colosseum staff.
