Get to uncover the history of Karen Blixen author of the book "Out of Africa" a hidden historic monument while in Nairobi. Explore the house and the great machinery used to grow and cultivate coffee. Take a look at the Danish kitchen, which was constructed outside the main home, just like traditional African kitchens. You’ll pass a massive 100-year-old tree that Karen planted on your left on the way to the kitchen, and it’s currently home to tree hyraxes.

Visiting the giraffe centre was a very wonderful experience. feeding the giraffe was fun and educational while bomas of kenya offered vibrant cultural dances and insights into kenyas rich heritage. its a perfect short trip to enjoy both culture and animals in a day.
Bomas cultural center is closed. Basicaly ,the tour guide drove us to local shop where into the parking area a group of local dancers had organised a performance show into a tent with a small stage. The performance was nice but the ambient had nothing to do with the pictures we have seen into viator for the Bomas center.Neither tour or information was provided for the life of local people neither local houses. The bad thing was that we were not aware of it prior in order to not include it into our tour. The Giraffe center was grate though.

We enjoyed feeding the giraffes who where friendly.At the bomas of Kenya we enjoyed viewing traditional houses and the different dances of different cultures.
