Hotel pick up at 8:00 am. The tour begins with heading towards the plateau of Giza to visit the only surviving Ancient Wonder all over the world, namely, the Great Pyramid of Cheops and the pyramids of Chephren and Mycerinus where you can capture some photos with the panoramic view to share with your friends and to remind you with this wonderful monument. Then, you will have a special chance to visit the sun boat (usually not included in any other tourist program); it is the afterlife boat which was originally built for the Great Pharaoh Cheops. Next, we will be moving to the Valley Temple and the Great Sphinx. Then, you have 30 minutes to ride a camel nearby the pyramids and to enjoy the great view Upon finishing your camel ride, you will have a lunch break at a good quality restaurant with a nice view over Sphinx
The tour will be resumed to visit the Egyptian Museum which reveals some secrets about the Ancient Egypt where you will really enjoy watching some unique pieces of art; the animal mummy room, the mummy portraits, the Royal Mummy Rooms (with extra fee), as well as seeing King Tutankhamun's treasures and his gold death mask
The Citadel was built on a promontory beneath the Muqattam Hills, a setting that made it difficult to attack. There have been three major construction periods leading to the Citadel's current form: 12th-century Ayyubid (starting with Saladin), 14th-century Mamluk (under al-Nasir Muhammad), and in the 19th century under Muhammad Ali

I originally booked a this transfer through Viator from the airport to our hotel. We landed almost an hour early and Isaac was ready to greet us right before we went through immigration. He was able to get us our visa and fast track us through the airport. The ride to the hotel was great as he was giving us a lot of facts about Egypt and the buildings that we were passing. We also mentioned that we didn’t have any tours booked and he mentioned that they provide half day and day tours. We organized an all day tour for the following day. Pick up for the tour was at 8 AM with Bol (driver) and Dina (guide). Dina was great, she is very knowledgeable about Cairo and was able to answer any questions that we had. The itinerary was completely flexible and tailored to what we wanted to do. We were able to hit the spots that we wanted. We went to the Egyptian museum last and we were tired so she was able to provide us the highlights of the museum and we were so appreciative! Overall, a great tour and great company! 10/10 recommend!!
Wonderful tour hitting the major sites in Cairo. Dina took us to the Egyptian Antiquities Museum, the Citadel and Mohamed Ali Mosque and the souk. All great! She was very knowledgeable and accommodating. Loved the tour and was a great way to start our trip in Cairo!
