Begin in Rome with a smooth, well-organized departure from the Crown Tours office. Settle into a comfortable premium van for a carefully curated coastal journey, with space to relax, enjoy the changing landscapes, and let the day unfold without having to manage the details yourself.
Pause in Pompeii for a comfortable break during the ride south. Stretch your legs, refresh, and enjoy a complimentary Italian breakfast with coffee and cornetto before the journey continues toward the coast. It is a simple, local start that eases you into the flavors and rhythm of southern Italy.
As the road opens toward the coast, the day begins to feel different. Stop for your first scenic reveal of the Sorrento Coast, with sea views, dramatic cliffs, and a glimpse of Mount Vesuvius in the distance. It is the first real taste of the southern Italian landscape you have seen in photos and dreamed about before the trip.
Arrive at a beautiful Positano viewpoint for one of the day’s most joyful coastal moments. Taste local limoncello and granita, a refreshing southern Italian specialty, while looking out toward Positano’s colorful houses spilling down the hillside toward the sea. If sea conditions prevent the cave visit, the stop is replaced with a traditional ceramics experience, keeping the day rooted in local coastal craftsmanship.
Cruise past Positano from the sea before continuing toward the dramatic cliffs of Fiordo di Furore. Music sets the mood as the coastline unfolds around you from the water. - The Emerald Cave boat experience is included. In case of adverse weather, such as heavy rain, it may be replaced with a stop at a Local ceramic experience.
- The Amalfi Coast roads are winding but generally comfortable. Guests with severe motion sickness may wish to take preferred preventative medication before the tour.

This was one of the best 13 hours I have ever spent with a tour guide. Josh was friendly, well-mannered, and answered all of our questions while constantly checking in to make sure we were feeling good and comfortable. His driving was flawless. Along the way, we made quick mini-stops to take in the breathtaking scenery from the massive mountains to pointing out nearby islands and telling us fascinating facts about the volcanoes we drove past. The overall experience was really great! Every stop on the tour was well planned including the food from bfast to lunch to gelato and wine tasting experience. I highly recommend our Tour guide, Luca, who was very nice and very accomodating! He has everything prepared, even the music background as we go along with our tour, it was perfect! We all enjoyed it very much as we were not rushed on every place we stop by. The only thing we wish that is hopefully part of the tour was that we could’ve swam in Amalfi where we had our lunch, or any other swimming spot along Amalfi where they have many beautiful swimming spots! This should be an option on the tour and allowed us to stay longer on any swimming spot. Overall tho, we couldn’t complain as it was a very nice and stress free experience! The van was also very clean and perfect and he even has lots of cable chargers for your phones if ever you forgot one! 5 stars for Luca, our tour guide! And thank you also to Crown Tours for suggesting this tour to us!

Everything was great! from the fees, to the van used and the way our driver Luka drove, how he communicated with us, the way he cared and managed our time, the( breakfast and lunch) food, and even the gelato and wine was excellent. The whole tour was magnificent, the only thing that would make the experience above average was when we are given even an ample time to dip our feet or even swim in the beautiful waters of AMALFI. Amalfi in itself is perfect but without swimming in it felt like the experience was incomplete. Good job Luka! Praising God for you and your services. Thank you for the experience!

From start to finish this was such an amazing trip! Luke and Jack our guides were fantastic! Very knowledgable, friendly and accommodating..also secretly very good photographers. The pastry shop was incredible. The views we stopped at along the way were absolutely beautiful, fresh orange/lemon/watermelon slushies were lovely, the restaurant view was perfect and the food to die for! We had a seafood risotto and red squid pasta dishes highly recommend both. Only thing we missed was the cave part but this can’t be helped when safety is involved but we got some more wine and jack recommended another view point which was absolutely insane also!

This day trip exceeded my expectations... It was so well thought out! In one day we did so many things, but it actually felt like the lightest day ever. Pick up spot right beside the Colosseum, breakfast, granita, aperitivo, lunch by the sea, the most scenic little town with a magnificent villa. Line, I cannot think of a more perfect day than the one we experienced. Special thanks to Giacomo, our driver, who was INCREDIBLE! Absolutely recommend this tour; worth every penny.

This trip is actually the most unexpected trip I have ever done in my life. I had a vague idea before booking and I booked quite last minute- which means the only expectation I had was that I was going to see the Amalfi coast. But this was so much more than that. The guide Giacomo was absolutely amazing, so fun!! He was very funny and it was so nice to learn about each area we visited through him! I went with my girlfriend and we actually ended up making very good friends that we still are in contact with today!! We had lunch next to the most beautiful Italian beach, I had a risotto with seafood. I can’t describe with the words how good it was. Overall this was a 10/10 experience. I cant wait to come back and try out their pompei and sorrento day trip!!
