The Roman Temple of Évora is one of the grandest and best preserved Roman temples in the entire Iberian Peninsula, having been considered a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1986. It is the city's ex-libris, a kind of visiting card, so known as the Chapel of Bones.
The Capela dos Ossos comes to many people’s minds when they talk about Évora. Because it's scary or simply because it's a monument like any other in the city. They are all spectacular, if it weren't for Évora being a World Heritage Site, but some... are truly more fascinating than others!
In Monsaraz, you will explore one of Portugal’s most beautiful medieval hilltop villages, with its narrow stone streets, whitewashed houses, and impressive castle walls. From the top of the village, you will enjoy breathtaking panoramic views over the Alqueva Lake and the surrounding Alentejo landscape. You will have free time to walk through the village, take photos, visit the castle area, and enjoy the unique atmosphere of this historic and picturesque place.
At the Cristo Rei viewpoint, you will stop to enjoy one of the most impressive panoramic views over Lisbon and the Tagus River. You will have time to walk around the viewpoint area, take photos, and admire the city from above before continuing the journey back to Lisbon.

These are beautiful places. Viator changed our reservation date (Sunday instead of Monday). We do not know the reason for this change. We found ourselves in a group of five people, three of whom spoke Portuguese. The tour was conducted in Portuguese and English. We had a very good multilingual driver; however, we did not receive everything that was in the description. We had chosen the package with all tickets included. We saw the Temple of Diana but did not really have free time in Évora. We visited the Chapel of Bones but did not have a guided tour. We had a lovely tasting at a wine cellar and a bit of free time in Monsaraz. We also had time at Cristo Rei. Overall, it is good, but it is too expensive for an incomplete package.

Stunning panoramic view. Just like the age the place reminds us to the past with the tranquility of who is there for a long time, very well cared for and preserved. A few options to eat. So reserve when you arrive.

It was a personalized and very pleasant experience. The guide was also the driver. I was on a sprained foot and he took care that I didn't walk much. Excellent day. Super recommended.

A great day visiting Évora and Monsaraz! António was a wonderful guide who brought fun energy to the trip and gave plenty of useful and interesting background about the sites we were seeing. We had a great time exploring the Chapel of Bones and the city center of Évora, and had fantastic food and wine in Monsaraz (with beautiful views as well)! Seeing the Sanctuary of Christ the King at the end of the tour was a great way to see many of the surrounding sites around Lisbon all in one day. Overall, we very much enjoyed this tour and would recommend to anyone visiting Lisbon!

Lovely trip, wonderful views and so much knowledge and understanding from Antonio. A member of our group twisted their ankle the day before and we thought they might have to stay inside the van while we go up and down the hills. But instead Antonio tried to accommodate them and brought us to the high parts while on the van. We still learned a lot from the places without leaving our friends behind. The only thing that we payed additionally was our lunch after the wine tasting, the rest was enjoy the view and company.
