The tour is full of exceptionally beautiful places. Our guide Mario is a very very good photographer. He is helpful, friendly and knowledgeable!
Awesome day with Mario Aryllan. He was very personable, and had great knowledge of the area. Took us to a wonderful spot for lunch and gave us a couple of different options for the day. Highly recommend.
Marco was amazing! Really thorough trip and day, we were able to hit a ton of spots and enjoyed our time learning about the different sights. 6/5 would recommend
Quiet trip, punctual, and duly followed the schedule. Guide Gabriel extremely knowledgeable of the contents, and kind in all placement. thank you.
This is one of the best tours we have ever taken, and we are avid travelers. Rodrigo is an amazing guide. You can tell he loves his job and his beautiful country. He picked us up at our hotel, and from there the fun began. He was knowledgeable, and kept the entire group engaged. He was also very warm and friendly and he was constantly checking in on everyone. The tour covers a lot of beautiful places, so we had to keep a schedule, but it never felt like that. Every stop felt fluid, and we never felt rushed. He also checked in on us to make sure we were ok, and he called everyone by their names. Everything he recommended was top notch and he enthusiastically ask how we enjoyed his recommendations. If you get a chance to pick a tour guide, ask for Rodrigo. Especially for this tour. Obrigado, Rodrigo.😊
Although the Penta Palace was closed to visitors, our driver Allen kindly got us to a point where we can see the palace. The tour says private day tour but it lasted just 90 minutes. We did see a couple of beautiful beaches but that was all. Our driver Allen was very friendly but the tour was not worth the cost.
Thank you for your feedback Anthony. We're glad you enjoyed the beaches and appreciated Allan's efforts to show you the Pena Palace viewpoint, despite its closure. We understand your disappointment regarding the Pena Palace being closed during your visit. Typically, this is a full-day tour with free time to explore the palace, but since it was closed, the itinerary was shortened. We apologize if this wasn’t clear beforehand and appreciate your understanding. We value your feedback and hope to welcome you again for a complete experience.
Our driver/guide took really good care of us and always asked our opinion if there. were different possibilities for the tour. She gave us a great personalised experience!
Our tour guide Mario met us on time at our meeting location. He was very knowledgeable of our surroundings info of the general area very interesting.Mario’s personality was enjoyable &he was super accommodating to our wishes.Mario also ended up being our personal photographer, knowing exactly where to stop for perfect pictures of the Moorish Castle and Pena Palace. We would definitely recommend this private group introductory tour to Sintra. The vintage car was fun to travel by and we had ample time to tour the palace before Mario picked us up to bring us to our drop of location. Sintratrips was a great tour operator!
Hi Darlene, Thank you for your wonderful review! We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed your private tour to Pena Palace. We appreciate your recommendation and look forward to assisting you on future adventures. Kind regards, Sintra Trips
Attila was very nice . We thought he would provide 3 hours as advertised but he only drove us for 1 hour to Peña palace and was surprised that we expected him to pick us up after our Peña tour. We waited over an hour for him to pick us up from Peña and drove us to the train station with no further tour commentary. Although he was very nice and polite it was very expensive for a basic drive up to Peña and back.
Hi Sil, Thank you for your review. We apologize for any confusion regarding the tour duration and the pickup. The 3 hour tour includes the time to spend inside the pena palace, and we request a 30-minute notice before pickup. We appreciate your feedback and we're working to improve. We hope to serve you better in the future. Kind regards, Sintra Trips
We enjoyed the day tour in Sintra with Mario very much! It was very nice that we could customize the tour our own interests. The beaches in Sintra are very beautiful and would recommend booking a tour.
Thank you Femke!
