At Ephesus, you will see the impressive ruins of the ancient city, including the Celsus Library, the Great Theater, and the Temple of Hadrian. Finally, the House of the Virgin Mary, believed by many to be the final resting place of Mary. During your Ephesus tour, enjoy cultural visits to a traditional Rug Weaving School, a Leather Fashion showroom, and a Pottery Workshop, where you’ll experience authentic Turkish craftsmanship and local artisan traditions. Ephesus, was the second largest city in the Roman Empire over 250.000 people in the 1st BC. Ranking only behind Rome it was the second largest city in the world. Ephesus was also a harbour city. And, this giant city was built only with marbel. Did you know Ephesus had a largest amphitheater in the ancient world over 25.000 seats? Enjoy a traditional lunch at a local carpet-weaving village, where you'll also have the opportunity to witness skilled artisans crafting authentic Turkish rugs by hand.
Temple of Artemis or Artemision, also known as the Temple of Diana, was a Greek Temple dedicated to the goddess Artemis. It was located in Ephesus and it was one of the seven wonders of the world.
The House of Virgin Mary, is a place where according to the beliefs of many people Mary, the mother of Jesus, spent her last years of her life. She was supposed to arrive at Ephesus together with St. John and lived there in the years 37-45 CE until her Assumption or Dormition.

Our guide Eda was great. Very knowledgeable and easy to understand. Let us take our time and go our own speed. Lunch was delicious. The carpet weaving tour was interesting but inevitably you feel some pressure to buy something.

Highly recommend this tour. I absolutely loved our tour guide Erdem and our driver Okan! They picked us up right off the ship. I felt extremely safe and comfortable with our guide. He was incredible! I really enjoyed visiting Ephesus-he even went above and beyond and gave us a shorter route with less walking which was HIGHLY needed with the extreme heat. This guy is seriously awesome-he even brings foods for the cats! He was incredibly kind and knowledgeable. We also stoped the the house of Virgin Mary and rug making! I even bought a small decorative rug which was beautiful and lunch was provided which was delicious!! Finally we stocked at a Turkish delight store and purchased oil and goodies. Honestly-when we booked this tour I wasn't sure what to expect but it EXCEEDED my expectations!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Adam and his driver provided an amazing tour of the city and culture of Turkey. He pointed out things and historical knowledge that we would have not otherwise noticed and was very personable. If we ever came back to Kusadasi we definitely do another tour with Adam!

He possessed a wealth of knowledge about the sites we visited and was incredibly helpful throughout the entire journey, ensuring we had a meaningful and informative experience. As a wheelchair user, I am often cautious when booking tours, but I felt genuinely valued as a customer here. This tour is accessible, well-organized, and highly recommended for travelers of all ages. We visited a rug manufacturer who made a very rug by hand. The walking to see the different sights. Cemal it was an excellent guide was a wealth of information. The driver also was very accommodating because my husband was in a wheelchair and so he would get it out and put it back in for us. Cemal also as helpful by pushing my husband in the wheelchair sometimes while we were looking at the ruins and meeting at different places. I would highly recommend this excursion for people wanting to see some of emphasis when they only have one day.
