Sebastian was a very knowledgeable and exciting guide who could talk for hours about his city.
The tour included all of the stops mentioned in the description. We were a small group which made the tour run very efficiently. Daniel, our driver/guide shared interesting information for each stop and managed the New York traffic like a pro.
I had a fantastic experience on this NYC tour, and a huge part of that was our guide, Sebastian. His detailed knowledge of New York City’s history was truly impressive — from the origins of different neighborhoods to fascinating stories about immigration, architecture, and cultural landmarks, he brought the city to life in a way that was both engaging and informative. You could tell he is genuinely passionate about the city, and he answered every question with depth and enthusiasm. The tour itself was very well organised and covered a great range of locations across the boroughs. Sebastian made sure everyone felt included and kept the energy high throughout the day. One area for improvement would be the restroom break in the Bronx. The public restroom near Yankee Stadium was unfortunately extremely unpleasant and smelled so bad that wearing a mask felt necessary. It would greatly improve the experience if a cleaner restroom stop could be arranged in the future. Overall, though, this was an excellent tour and I would absolutely recommend it — especially with Sebastian as the guide.
Very knowledgable driver/guide. Very informative when it came to photo stops and restrooms. Thoroughly enjoyed the trip and would recommend to others wanting a whistle stop tour of New York boroughs.
Our driver was amazing, the tour itself was amazing. Only reason I didn’t give 5 starts was due to an incident that shocked me. We stopped at a bakery called Sandler’s in Brooklyn, a few of us that came off. The tour bus went into the bakery only to be abused and told we were parasites invading their space by a Jewish lady., Told we were disgusting and we shouldn’t be in their space because we’re not Jewish. I was completely shocked and my 12-year-old son was quite upset. So I hope this stop has been taken off the itinerary. Other than that this tour was absolutely amazing.
We had a great time. It was the best way to see and experience the different Burroughs. Not only did Millie show us significant sites, but she told us the history and demographics of the areas and sites. It was a great 5 hours. We ended at Little Italy so we walked around it and China Town.
The tour was ok but we didn’t get a chance to tour Yankee Stadium due to Clemson & Penn State University having a game so that was disappointing as there was no space for our bus to park. We also did not stop by the Apollo Theater and the tour guide didn’t even mention that we would not be stopping by it. I had to ask him once we got to the Brooklyn Bridge why we didn’t stop at Apollo and he said it’s under construction. That’s deceiving people as we booked this tour to see inside both Yankee Stadium and the Apollo Theater. I could care less about seeing the joker stairs and that park in Queens. Also the Empanadas we got in the Bronx at the deli stop was not good. Would rather stopped at Sylvia’s in Harlem for some good soul food. The van ride was nice and cozy especially since it was snowing. Wish we saw more parts of Brooklyn as not much time was spent there. I will be contacting Viator for a partial refund due to not being able to fully complete the tour.
Thank you for your feedback — we truly appreciate it. We’d like to clarify that our tour does not advertise interior access to Yankee Stadium or the Apollo Theater. These are exterior stops, and all stops are subject to traffic, special events, weather, and city restrictions. On your tour date, the game and snow created parking and safety limitations around Yankee Stadium. Regarding the Apollo Theater, access was limited due to construction, and we agree the guide should have communicated that more clearly — we will address this internally. We’re glad you found the van comfortable during the snow, and we appreciate your suggestions. Your feedback helps us improve.
This tour takes you through the different boroughs in NYC. The only one you dont see is Staten Island, which you can take the free Staten Island ferry ride to view. The tour guide was wonderful! She did a great job showing us the different boroughs. I enjoyed this tour and would highly recommend it.
Daniel was fantastic. Very knowledgeable about the city. He drove well and was just a delight. I was traveling with my mother who needed some assistance getting in and out of the van, and Daniel went above and beyond to help. Lots of stops to stretch. Highly recommended if you’re looking for some insight about lesser known areas of New York.
Great half day tour of Harlem, Bronx, Queens and Brooklyn. Several stops in each area with walks to area landmarks for photo opportunities. Sebastián was a great tour guide.
