Very comfortable (Mercedes van) transportation with great guide (Carlos) who picked us up in old Lisbon and drove us to Evora for a walking tour and then another trip to Monsaraz. We had a great lunch in Evora and sipped wine there and in Monsaraz. A very enjoyable 10 hour day!

Évora is a must see during your stay in Portugal! We started our day being picked up at our hotel in Lisbon. The car was comfortable and came with water. It was about 1.5 hour drive from Lisbon to Évora. Our amazing driver surprised us with a stop at the 25 April Bridge so we could see Christ the King up close. It was such a nice unexpected surprise! Once we got to Évora our first stop was to the bone church (it cost 6 euros to enter). After the bone church we were given free time for lunch. There are plenty of options to choose from for lunch. Third thing we did was a beautiful cathedral (I believe it was 4 euros a person cash only!). The final stop on the walking tour was to see the Temple of Diana built by the Romans. Évora is such a beautiful town. It’s nice to get out of Lisbon for a day and see more of what Portugal has to offer. Our driver was amazing always making sure we were comfortable and giving us plenty of time for shopping. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes because it is a mainly outdoor walking tour on cobble stone, but it is flat and it was a leisure walk.

We had a fantastic experience on our tour in Évora with Rui. In addition to pleasant conversation throughout the tour, Rui passed us interesting information about the region and Portugal all the time.
