Our guide, Lana, was amazing. We were able to customize our itinerary to what fit our needs, interests, and time. She gave us great info at every site, and had a lot of knowledge about the attractions. Kyoto is a big area, and the attractions are pretty far apart With this company’s help we were able to maximize our 4 hour time

We had the pleasure of getting Nobu-san (Nobuto Shimizu) as our assigned driver/guide for 2 days. He was great the first day that we asked to have him again for our 2nd day. He was very accommodating, ensured that we got to see the places we wanted to see, gave us a lot of information about the places and sights. He was even a great photographer to document our trip! He also provided ample recommendations for things we can check out during the rest of our stay. Extra added bonus that he is fluent in English and just a nice person. We highly recommend him and would request him again when we go back to Kyoto!

My wife, my son and I have just completed a visit to Kyoto, our first time here. Mr. Nobu Shimizu came highly recommended to us by two of my son’s work colleagues. We had a wonderful two day guided vehicular tour of the city thanks to Nobu. He was exceptionally polite, respectful, and knowledgeable. He put together a comprehensive itinerary, and catered to all our needs. His command of English is excellent, and he made us feel at ease and at home immediately. Nothing was too difficult for him. The city and its attractions are very impressive. The vehicle provided by the company was top class in all respects, with the comfort and cleanliness standing out in particular. We cannot praise Nobu enough for his professionalism and kindness. If we have the privilege of visiting Kyoto again, we will not hesitate to re-engage Nobu and MK . We will definitely recommend the team to all family and friends who are planning to visit Kyoto.

We had the pleasure of meeting Ryo Morokawa (諸川諒) during our recent trip to Kyoto, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. He was our taxi driver to dinner one evening and immediately impressed us with his kindness, professionalism, and excellent English. During our conversation, we learned that he also offers private driving services and is a talented photographer — so we decided to hire him for a couple’s photo shoot on our last day in Kyoto. Ryo went above and beyond in every way. He helped us with our kimono arrangements and took stunning photos that captured the beauty of Kyoto and our special moments perfectly. His calm demeanor, attention to detail, and genuine care made the entire experience unforgettable. We were so grateful to have met him that we hired him again to drive us from Kyoto to Osaka. Thanks to Ryo, our final day in Kyoto became one of the most memorable parts of our trip. We are already looking forward to returning to Kyoto — and when we do, we will definitely reach out to Ryo again. Highly, highly recommended!

We had an unforgettable day in Kyoto thanks to our guide, Nobuto Shimizu. From the moment we met him, his kindness and professionalism stood out. He led us through a full day of exploring, from peaceful temples and the breathtaking Arashiyama Bamboo Forest to a hidden lunch spot and, of course, the Golden Pavilion, which was even more stunning in person. What really made this tour special was Nobu-san himself. He didn’t just explain things, he shared the heart of Kyoto. His stories, insights, and the way he brought each place to life made the entire experience feel personal and meaningful. You could tell how much he loves this city. He also made everything easy suggesting the best photo spots, and even adjusting the pace so it never felt rushed. His warmth and attention to detail made us feel completely taken care of. If you’re visiting Kyoto and want more than just sightseeing if you want to really connect with the culture then this is the person you want by your side. We left with beautiful memories and a deeper appreciation for Japan, all thanks to him. Thank you, Nobu-san. We’ll never forget this day.

Waka was the friendliest guide we ever had! She contacted us before our tour to make sure we knew where to meet, and she promptly met us at the meeting point. Before we started, she asked us about our interests and preferences for what we wanted to see and offered us suggestions to tailor the trip exactly to our needs! We were on a day trip to Kyoto from Tokyo, and this was the perfect way to spend our day. We saw so many beautiful and historic sites while learning so much via Waka's detailed explanations of each unique location.

We’ve had an amazing time with Waka as our tour guide. She was so sweet and cheerful. She was always so knowledgeable about many topics including all of the historical sites as well as current topics and culture of Japan. She was also flexible with rearranging our tour stopping points based on our requests. She made our time in Kyoto very enjoyable and informative. We highly recommend this tour and Waka as a guide.

We had a one-day trip in Kyoto with Mr Shimizu aka "Nobu" who is the kindest, funniest and most attentive person we have ever met. He went over and beyond to make sure we had an unforgettable time, introduced us wonderful snacks, took numerous pictures of us at the most scenic spots and made all our requests come true in the best way possible. He also drove our spotless limousine very skillfully! We felt safe and relaxed all the time and enjoyed every moment of the ride. We cannot recommend him enough.
