Early Bird E-biking through East Kyoto

Description
Perfect for groups and individuals (from 145cm!) looking for a unique perspective on the city, this e-bike tour explores the highlights of south and east Kyoto. We meet bright and early for a short orientation before heading south to enjoy the majestic Fushimi Inari Shrine before the crowds arrive. From here we will catch the splendour of Tofukuji Temple before stopping for a morning coffee. The next part of our journey takes us up the Kamo river and over to the UNESCO listed Ginkakuji Temple. After Ginkakuji, we will roll slowly south down the iconic Path of Philosophy and into the grounds of Nanzenji Temple (complete with traditional gardens, ornate religious buildings and even a red brick aquaduct). After a sit down lunch (provided), the last leg of our journey takes us south along the Shirakawa Canal and through the streets of Gion before returning to base. * Must be 13+ to participate as a rider

Sean was a wonderful guide who was very knowledgeable with the area and the history of the sites we visited. Coffee stop was much appreciated and lunch was delicious, overall a wonderful day in Kyoto!
What an amazing day! We loved exploring Kyoto via bike with Jules! Not only did we get to visit several of the major Kyoto shrines, temples and sites, we also really appreciated the perspective that Jules brought to the day. Having lived in Kyoto for many years, he was able to help us get to know the city through the eyes of a local person. Jules is smart, funny, patient and professional. And he took us to great coffee and ramen spots. Great experience and great value with this tour!
Quin was a really nice guide who told us a lot about the places we went to by bike. Also the bikes are very well maintained and suitable for tall people.
This was a fantastic day trip and would absolutely recommend to anyone seeking this type of tour. We had a fantastic time, what a great way to see Kyoto
We thoroughly enjoyed our e-bike tour of Eastern Kyoto with Jay; his connection with the area and the culture made our day an immersive, joyful journey of discovery rather than a narration of facts and figures. The bikes were adjustable pedal assist, perfect for when a hard pedal up a hill in the heat and humidity seems less fun than a bit of boost - it’s vacation after all! Highly recommend this operator and Jay.
An excellent tour of some Kyoto's headline sights. Indra was loaded with information and background to support any questions we had. Highly recommend
Great tour. It was fun. Momo was a great guide
It was soooo cool! I loved the part along the river. Our guide told us how to behave in temple and also a lots about place we visited.
Fantastic bike tour of Kyoto!!!! Saw so much, got coffee and lunch and sweets! Had Momo as our guide who really made the trip! We learned a ton. I highly recommend this tour.
This was a great way to experience Kyoto’s less traveled streets as well as visiting temples and shrines. Our guide, Juan, was friendly, personable, and knowledgeable. He shared interesting facts about the locations and happily answered our questions. Plus it was simply fun to explore by bike and peaceful to ride along the river.
