Fairytale tour of the Dyker Heigths neighborhood, our guide Antonio guided us with professionalism and one with a definite gift for human relationships. He gave us the most detailed information about the different families who initiated this tradition of home decorations for Christmas.
We went on Christmas Day evening. It was super crowded, nobody's fault but it was difficult to stay with the group leader and not get lost. Houses were cool. Could have done a shorter tour. The stop on the way home was nice to take a picture with the city skyline. Our guide did a good job just so crowded.
Our tour guide was fantastic on the way there and back he talked about the history of NYci ty and the buildings passed I would give him 110 out of 100
Daniel and Adell did a great job. So fun. The tour was well thought out and very exciting. The tour is 3 hours long while walking through the neighborhoods and then the Brooklyn bridge. Highly recommend
All in all, the tour was excellent! Camilla was great! I would recommend deleting the Bay Ridge part of the tour and reducing the tour maybe to 3.0-3.5 hours. We enjoyed the stop at "DUMBO". One recommendation...Camilla used music to alert her tourists of her whereabouts. It's a wonderful idea, except some of the Dyker Heights homes had music blasting at their homes, drowning out Camilla's music. She uses "What's App" if any tourists lost her temporarily, another great idea -- we used it at least once. (I'm not sure if there was a 5:00pm tour option; if not, it wouldn't be a bad idea to offer this as an additional time option.) Also, Johnny (the tour bus driver), was wonderful!
As a native New Yorker, this was one of my first NYC tours with a tour guide, and Steve exceeded expectations. He was very knowledgeable about NYC and made the tour very engaging. He took us to all the right spots, both secluded and crowded, to see all the best Christmas lights. Very happy with the experience and it was a major perk to have a bus with big windows and a bathroom.
Daniel our guide was very good and so was our driver Peter. Daniel set a nice pace to follow when we were on foot through the neighborhoods. Bus broke down but they put us on another in a timely manner. Loved that Daniel held up a lighted wand so we could see him easily as we walked behind. The house decorations were amazing! Great tour.
Danny was our tour guide through Dyker Heights Christmas City Lights. I have been wanting to do this for years, and this was the year the only way to appreciate NYC on in Christmas is at night and from the bridges. It was more than my expectations so as far as im concerned during Christmas you have to book one of these tours and get the heck out of the city.
The bus ride was very hot. We did not spend as much time at each location as promised and there was no visit to Bryant Park
We loved our tour guide, Camilla. She was fun and shared a lot of fun information about the city and history of Dyker Christmas lights. The lights were beautiful.
