A very characteristic and unique park, it deserves a visit. The only downside is that they do not allow dogs, even small ones, and I saw many cats inside!
Our tour with Simone was wonderful. He helped us customize our itinerary so we went to the Monster Park, Civita di Bagnoregio, and the archeological site at the McDonald's in Frattocchie. Very friendly and easy to work with.
Simone was knowledgeable, entertaining and enthusiastic. He drove safely and helped us to learn more about areas in Italy outside and inside Rome. He arranged the tour to be accommodating to our schedule and to make all the stops enjoyable. I highly recommend him and this tour.
Ciao Kristy, thank you for taking your time to write this review, i relaly appreciate it ! Thank you for your words, i'm very happy you enjoyed Bomarzo and all the other sites ! See you here again for more amazing places to visit, ciao Simone
This is a great tour to Bomarzo Monster Park, which is difficult for individuals to do. Simone's guide is easy to understand and very enjoyable. Japanese people who are not good at English are OK, you can use AI to fully understand the history of medieval villages. On holidays, there are many Italian families, so weekdays are recommended.
フィードバックありがとうございます!ローマからの日帰り旅行が楽しいものだったようで、とても嬉しいです!これからも素敵な旅ができますように!!チャオ、シモーネ Grazie :-)
We spent a spectacular week in Rome, but our full-day tour of medieval villages outside the city was our best day by far! Simone from Scoot Around Rome was an amazing guide! He picked us up and drove us to the beautiful Sacro Bosco monster park in Bomarzo. One of the most magical places we’ve ever seen! We also visited the medieval villages of Bomarzo, Vitorchiano, and Bassano Romano. We went at our own pace, stopped for lunch and coffee, and enjoyed a bonus photo stop in the Quartiere Coppede on the way home. Simone shared lots of stories and history along the way and we had a very fun day together! Seriously, one of the best tours we’ve ever taken! We wish we had more time to take more of their tours. When visiting Rome, don’t hesitate to book Scoot Around Rome for your day trip needs!
We had the most amazing full day trip with Simone from Scoot Around Rome! What a fantastic time. We chose a visit to the surreal and serenely beautiful Sacro Bosco monster park in Bomarzo. We also visited the medieval villages of Bomarzo, fantastic . Vitorchiano, and Bassano Romano. We went at our own pace with stops for coffee and lunch. We finished with a quick photo stop in the Quartiere Coppede on the way back to our lodgings. And wow. Simone is a charming companion and wonderful tour guide, and he shared Interesting history and stories all along the way. What an absolutely perfect day! One of the best tours we’ve ever taken! If you’re visiting Rome, please don’t hesitate to book this company for your day trip needs!
Ciao Gregory, I'm so happy you both had a great day discovering these amazing places with me. It was such a beautiful day for me as well—I love when travelers have enthusiasm like you both did! I hope to see you again in Rome to discover more amazing places. Ciao ciao!
Simone is a wonderful guide and he is willing to take solo travelers on tours. We visited places outside of Rome that are hard to reach otherwise. The day started at Bassano in Teverina where I had the village pretty much to myself - no crowds was so nice. After that was The Monsters’ Park with its fabulous stone sculptures. The village of Bomarzo was quiet and quaint too. Mostly locals there. Had a great lunch at a local restaurant then on to Vitorchiano, a village on the edge of a cliff that also happens to have a Moai too. Simone loves cats and gives them pats - good man. Ended the day with a special visit to Quartiere Coppede in Rome. I highly recommend this tour if you have the time. You will see places most travelers do not go. Simone also does airport transfers, a scooter tour in Rome, and can drive you to other places in Italy, instead of a train, so you can see sights along the way. Great way to see more of this amazing country in good company with a strong knowledge of history and fun facts.
Ciao Wendy , thank you for your words and makes me very happy you enjoyed this day trip together. Many places to visit around Rome and this area we went to, Tuscia, is among the most interesting . See you again for more amazing places to discover ciao ciao enjoy Italy ✌🏻🇮🇹☀️
If you plan to go to Bomarzo the best option is here. If you do not know him or have doubts, I strongly ask you not to miss him. It is where art and nature merge to create a magical place, full of history and mystery. On the other hand, it should be noted that Simone was a great guide!! Very interesting tour of the small medieval towns, after being in Bomarzo. Adapting to your times, illustrating yourself with stories and anecdotes that enrich the ride, showing you that you love what you do. We highly recommend it!!
Grazie mille Alejandro !! it was a nice day , i'm very happy you enjoyed it !! wish you the best in your italian holiday ciao :-)
The place is wonderful but the map is confusing. Monster statues are huge and wonderful, and we had fun. From Host it takes little to get there. The last stop includes a monster with a huge open mouth where you can enter to take a picture. Only problem of rude children ruin the peace of the park. It's a nice place but you can't eat and get ready to walk!
This was such a wonderful day trip! Simone was a fantastic guide. He was incredibly knowledgeable and just so sweet! There were 4 of us, we have two kids 10 and 21 and this trip really held both their interests. I appreciate Simone’s kindness and hospitality, we really lucked out w him as our guide. Wonderful memories were made!
